Reuters Quandry:20% of Top Photos Of The Day

Reuters has decided that China, Asia, Africa, South America and the U.S. almost don't exist. Instead they devote 5 of their 19 Top Photos Of the Day to an area slightly larger than New Jersey.
Reuters doesn't know which side to root for...

A roundabout is seen through a damaged window following clashes between Palestinian security forces and gunmen over the arrest of two Palestinian militants, in Nablus in the Israeli-occupied West Bank September 20, 2022. REUTERS/Mohamad Torokman
The 'militants' are Hamas operatives. 'Occupied'? then how come Palestinian Authority troops are in charge?

PS-notice the 'Land with the Jews Wiped Out' monument on the upper left? Anyway, Reuters doesn't know who to back, so they make it real vague.

In 2014 Hamas spent their money firing 4500 missiles at Israeli towns and cities. This year they spent the money on about 1000 missiles the same way. That's where the money went.
So let's blame the UN.

Come on you've got to find ONE picture of the 'Peaceful Palestinians in Gaza' (ruled by violent Hamas Islamist fanatics)

Yup, unmentioned is that it's the wall of the Holy Temple where Jews had already worshiped for over 1000 years before the Second Temple was built.
We can't give Jews much credit for that. After all, it's always been inhabited by Palestinians.ps-Jesus the Jew hung out right there on that spot.

Of note: Reuters did not include one photo by their 'staged photo' specialist Raneen Sawafta

As best I can tell, this is the man who make such decisions or knows who does - [www.linkedin.com]

You should ask him how they arrive at their edits and why they seem to over index on Palestine. Perhaps they have a particular investment in maintaining a Palestinian newsroom, I'm just speculating.

Is it possible that you are getting a limited set of what they send out, much as one online site seems to send me a limited set of stories? Just wondering how they do it, considering that they must receive an awful lot of pictures over the course of a day. How many pictures from the various European countries?

Just go to
[www.reuters.com] Top Photos Of The Day is always the top gallery with the largest intro photo.

Curious. By the way, I'm not allowed to use the name of the website that sends me its "digest" and deals with questions about getting a job in Silicon Valley etc. I forget why that is.

I will say that I got the same photos in the same ratio by going to the site.

On the other hand, I'm not a big believer in hitting myself on the head with a hammer over and over. It really does feel better when one stops.

The easy fix is have the Mossad kill the head of the Reuters photo department and make it look like the Ruskies did it.
