Well, if Putin is arrested or Donald drops dead, I may break my promise.

I'm okay - keep the seemingly positive breaking news coming.

Not at all - she's totally convinced of her righteousness.

I don't know. I thought that. Why not cooperate earlier?

Trump dropping dead would be only fitting, it is the preferred Russian method.

In the hearings, they have to raise their hand and swear to tell the truth, right?

I think it's a crime to lie to Congress.

gadje's options aren't mutually exclusive, it seems a shame not to root/hope for for both, y/n?

Trump probably should not visit Moscow right now. At the very least, he should avoid tall buildings.

What a tangled, dangerous web we weave.

If the wife of a SC judge admits to treasonous acts and/or perjures herself, what consequence would that have for her husband? For the SC as a whole? And if it's discovered that he was involved in this whole mess, would we be looking at the impeachment of a SC judge? It's only happened once so far, and the justice was acquitted.

Still needs sixty votes in the Senate to remove him, I just don't see the Republicans supporting impeachment for something as minor as treason.

Remind me again, which state was it took the first shot attacking US forces and the Union itself way back when? More likely he'll then become either governor or senator.

There's a long line of sedition that runs through both Carolinas.

I hope so. Then she will hopefully incriminate herself.

Otherwise, I expect a lot of "I don't recall" or "On the advice of council, I refuse to answer..."

I think the “SC” PeterB was referring to was the SCOTUS.

I’m curious what the questions will be, since her answers will likely boil down to, “somebody told me there was fraud.”

I don't think she is the subject of investigation - I think they want to know what she knows. The who said what, when.

I'm pretty sure that calling up people and suggesting asinine ideas is not a crime.

If the asinine ideas are criminal, and the plot moves forward, they call that “conspiracy”.
