Well, it is campaign season, which can turn a holler to supporters into a “Dean scream”, but I think this faux pas is particularly illustrative of right-wing meme-ery:

BTW, our state Education folks put out a straight-faced statement that they are, um…unaware of any Minnesota school districts currently providing this sort of…alternate bathroom facilities.

I was disappointed that it was insufficiently debunked and one of the members was very convinced it was real.

I do agree that it underscores how some people are having trouble discerning truth from fiction, in part because some societal changes make so little sense to them.

I believe that untreated schizophrenics and others with severe/dangerous delusions should not vote.
This could not be achieved, though, without the disenfranchisement of 30% of the population, and the GOP would never stand for this. The fact that they feed these delusions is reprehensible. The next step would be for them to try to convince Democrats with depression to off themselves. They’re only half a step away from attempting this.

Our GOP Governor Nominee has promised to ban pole dancing in our elementary schools. Along with "porn" and CRT. No word on banning cash bars in the cafeterias.
