Remember what Nancy Pelosi said then, when asked when the Dems were finally going to come around to Bush’s plan or come up with their own plan to replace Social Security?

“Never. Is never good enough for you?”



As usual, the Republicans and their media mouthpieces are now again accusing the Dems of “trying to scare seniors”, while they plot away.

Seniors are perceptive and most can spot flim-flam. Easily scared, not so much.

As bet I can tell, most Republicans live in the perpetual present, unable to discern the yesterday they're striving to achieve changes over time.
