He will undoubtedly be able to sucker a substantial minority of people in this country into thinking that presidential candidates are immune from criminal prosecution in the same fashion as the president.

And he put enough incompetents in federal judge's seats that he might just find one dumb enough to believe that cr@p or corrupt enough to pretend to find it in the law.

The real problem for him declaring is once he does, the RNC can no longer pay his legal bills. Those bills are getting ever larger.

The DOJ has already said they don't care whether he is officially a candidate or not; their approach won't change.

I think it depends on whether the GA senate race goes to a runoff. If it does, I bet he waits until after that election on Dec 6. Around here (in a deeply Republican area) he is widely (dis)credited with the GA Democratic Senate wins in the runoff after the 2020 election when he told Repubs that their vote wouldn't count and the Repub vote was much lower in the runoff than in a typical runoff election. Of course, Repub voters only have themselves to blame for listening to Trump. In any case, I'd imagine Trump advisors will tell him to hold off for another couple of weeks. Maybe he'll listen.

Have YOU ever voted in a State or National election where ALL the ballots were counted on election day??

If so, what alternate universe do you live in? startrek59
