VW is just envious of Tesla.

Most of the ads I see now are from Amazon or Apple, or movie releases. Some pharma. No cars, banks, airlines....

The funny thing is that this is pure, 100% capitalism.

The cons are always crying the loudest when they get slapped by the invisible hand of the free market.

Speech isn't constitutionally protected on Twitter. It's not the government. Exactly the same as you getting to tell me what I can say or not say at your house. You can kick me out just because I said "Less Filling!"

Everyone else out there, let this be understood as we move forward.

The right is extremely shaky about the definitions of 1.free speech, 2.capitalism, and 3.terms-of-service. They end up with a weird stew of misunderstanding which leads to a great many gaffes when they try to express opinions.

Yup, and to cap it all off these guys go beyond their own ‘terms of service’ and ‘cancel’ posters criticizing them (though they violate no ‘rules’ on gun nutters forums, so called ‘christian’ forums, and even their hero Trumps Truth Social network. What a bunch of hypocritical snow flakes. Watcha got to say to that Mr645?

Trump quote, 2019:

[nymag.com]

Quote

“To me free speech is not when you see something good and then you purposely write bad,” he insisted. “To me that’s very dangerous speech, and you become angry at it. But that’s not free speech.”

In that article they talk about how Trump trounced all over Collin Kapernick's expression of kneeling for the anthem. No doubt that was the sentiment at the time of many of those who are now whining about private companies constraining their ability to post misinformation and speech that could easily encourage violence. Hypocrites.

I don't expect any logical response. He and chopper and a few others come in, though a post and never come back.

No one ever claimed Twitter, a private entity with terms of service, of breaking a law, violating the US constitution. But the new owner is allowing a far greater range of free speech. Just like many FB groups I own, a allow certain content and not others. One I do not allow member that live out side of Florida, or many I only allow people with certain types of businesses to participate.

Musk is letting *everyone* who was banned back in to try to make up for the huge exodus off the platform. He's losing users faster than a leaky boat loses water.
