Ted Cruz has a holiday message for all Americans-(a message of Unity&Peace?)

(they are just summarizing Cancun Ted's venomous talking points)

"The focus needs to be on Joe Biden, this is not about Hunter Biden, any more than if you're going after the mafia and you catch some low-level enforcer, or you're going after a drug cartel and you catch some mule who swallowed balloons full of heroin," Cruz said. 
"It's not about the poor schlub who got caught. It's about the boss," the senator continued.

"It's about the big guy. It's about the Godfather, Joe Biden is the Godfather. He is the one who ultimately is profiting on this corruption," Cruz said. "He is the one who is abusing official authority to further the criminal activity of his family members. And that's why this is an issue of public corruption."

Cruz said the Department of Justice under Biden "desperately" wants "to keep this on," pointing to the DOJ's handling of Hunter’s "drug problem."

"You know what, we wouldn't be talking about it if it was just one deeply troubled soul," Cruz continued. "The reason we should talk about it, and the reason why the corporate media and the Democrats desperately don't want to talk about it, is there is now growing evidence of corruption from Joe Biden himself, when he was vice president of the United States.

Ted is espousing a strange strategy, as much as voters make not approve of the Biden administration - they don't hate or even dislike him. Attempting to turn him into a lightening rod will consume a lot of their energy and is likely destined to fail.

I doubt they'll follow through since they hate Ted way more than they'll ever hate .

I'm not so sure that that's correct; all of the crazies I follow on FB, for example, think he's both Satan and Beelzebub. If course, they really have no idea why, or any background. but their masters have instructed them to hate, and they are good soldiers, so they hate.

This is another variation of an old schtick from Cruz. Forbes, nearly ten years ago:

"Ted Cruz-The Reincarnation Of Joe McCarthy?"

In response, the spokesperson said, “We hope there will be practical changes in American foreign policy and that Washington becomes respectful of the rights of nations.”

Clearly, there was no rational basis for Senator Cruz to conclude that such a remark was an expression of public praise for the nomination of Chuck Hagel. So why would Cruz suggest such a thing?

It's all about fundraising.

Saying that they want to make sure the richest people/corporations in the US pay as little in taxes as possible isn't really appealing.

But claiming that they are trying to stop an international cabal of child traffickers operation out of a pizza shop basement separates the foolss from their money.
