Holy Cow! Oliver offers Thomas a million a year for life plus a 2.5 mil motor couch to step down. One of his best segments, unless you're a Supremes fan.

Oh, my staff missed it. Heads will roll. Still, has he gone too far? Hope he's got good legal. No laws against bribing a Sup? apparently not?

That wouldn't be considered a bribe as he is not requesting Thomas to vote in any particular way.

Exactly! It would be considered similar to a retirement incentive, Thomas would still collect whatever retirement benefits that go along from 30+ years on the bench.

It's a nice idea, but you know the President won't be allowed to appoint a new SCOTUS Justice in an election year because he's not a Republican.
