“Biden Is Not the First U.S. President to Cut Off Weapons to Israel”

The president was livid. He had just been shown pictures of civilians killed by Israeli shelling, including a small baby with an arm blown off. He ordered aides to get the Israeli prime minister on the phone and then dressed him down sharply.
The president was Ronald Reagan, the year was 1982, and the battlefield was Lebanon, where Israelis were attacking Palestinian fighters.
… It would not be the only time he would use it to rein in Israel. In fact, Mr. Reagan used the power of American arms several times to influence Israeli war policy, at different points ordering warplanes and cluster munitions to be delayed or withheld.

Someone show Biden the burned, beheaded Israeli babies,
Quote
On Dec. 4, Israel’s Haaretz newspaper published a detailed examination of unverified accounts of alleged atrocities disseminated by Israeli first-responders and army officers. The report could document only one case of a baby being killed in the Hamas attacks. The child, 10-month-old Mila Cohen, was shot while being held by her mother. No accounts of beheaded or burned babies could be verified. Haaertz reporters also cast doubt on claims that a baby was ripped from the womb of a pregnant woman — a claim that had been amplified by a fake video not filmed in Israel.
There is little dispute that many of the civilians killed by militants on Oct. 7 died in especially brutal ways. But caution is still warranted, especially at the presidential level, about statements that babies were beheaded. The available evidence does not need exaggeration.

Which raises the question; Whom DID you support in 1980: Jimmy Carter, John B. Anderson, Ed Clark, Barry Commoner or someone else?
In 1988: Michael Dukakis, Ron Paul, Lenora Fulani or someone else?
