This. The most common reason I hear from Trump supporters is but but he’s a successful businessman. Never mind the massive information to the contrary. I believe it’s mainly because conservatives are just not going to accept a black woman.

There has never been anything like this.

It doesn't matter to The Faithful; they hate "you" more than they care about thr lies.

They can't envision the bus they're getting thrown under.

I think Trump knows that the peripheral past supporters that have left him aren't coming back and he ain't convincing at lot of genuinely on-the-fence voters so his best hope is to massively turn out disaffected white voters that had not voted much if at all until he came along. Many of them are very heavily driven by emotion so Trump getting maximally apocalyptic is from his intent to motivate them to vote for him in November.

Donald's language now is straight up Nazi. Yesterday he said immigrants should get the death penalty. Someone in the crowd yelled "kill them."
