You're gonna need a bigger ... Jail.

MacMagus posted the following regarding the President's new powers:

He now reserves the right (via Secretary of the Treasury) to confiscate the property of anyone otherwise protected under the laws of this country at any time without notice, based on decisions made in secret with no evidentiary standards upon allegations that a person or corporation "[Undermines] efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq."

This includes not just the person who said or did anything against the war in Iraq, but also to anyone who has ever provided money, goods or services to that person.

The Government Accounting Office (GAO) has recently released a report wherein it determined that over 190,000 weapons (assault rifles and sidearms) and over 130,000 pieces of body armor intended for use by Iraqi Security Forces, have disappeared. They were specifically made available to "promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq."

The person responsible for this is, of course, the Great Decider, i.e. citizen George W. Bush, President of the United States and our Commander in Chief. In the grand tradition of American leadership (see Harry S. Truman) the Buck does Stop at his desk.

Citizen Bush and his administration have in fact "undermined efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq" by allowing arms and body armor to be funneled to the hands of Iraqi Insurgents, who in turn seem determined to undermine the fledgling Iraqi government, as well as murder US Military personnel.

And, as the Finding points out, anyone assisting a person in the process of undermining is equally at risk of losing their liberty and property.

Therefore, following the logic that Citizen Bush, President and Commander in Chief, did not operate with due dilligence, thus supporting Iraqi Insurgents and possibly al-Qieda itself, Citizen Bush must immediately be subject to these new siezure rules.

And those who assisted/supported him to cause this flagrent disregard for National Security should meet the same fate. This would include, but not be limited to:

All members of his Adminstration; Congressmen and Women who have supported his actions in Iraq (be they Republican or Democrat); The whole Republican National Committee; all members of the National Rifle Association; the entire Fox News operation; Dennis Miller, and since, by the now institutionalized legal theory of guilt by association, any and every one who ever supported Citizen Bush who, in turn supported the enemy. That would include every Corporation, Corporate Officer, Banker, Broker, Lawyer, Lobbiest and members of any Organization or any Person who directly donated funds to support the re-election of George W. Bush, and thus supported someone who substantially aided and abbeted our enemies.

That's a lot of beach front property, resort condos, ski area cabins, cars, planes, cash, investments, retirement funds, college funds and beer money that can be confiscated and auctioned off by what remains of the Government to help pay for the Iraq War.

And, like I said, the round up of these Bush supportes is going to require we build a lot more jails.

I look forward to Geroge W. Bush, President of the United States, standing behind his Finding, and enforcing it to the letter of His Law.

"I look forward to Geroge W. Bush, President of the United States, standing behind his Finding, and enforcing it to the letter of His Law."
