It all depends on what it is

"If you look at the literature, if you look at the dictionary, the term 'saw' includes being aware of in the sense I've described," Romney told reporters in Iowa. "It's a figure of speech and very familiar, and it's very common. And I saw my dad march with Martin Luther King. I did not see it with my own eyes, but I saw him in the sense of being aware of his participation in that great effort."

Mitt Romney went a step further in a 1978 interview with the Boston Herald. Talking about the Mormon Church and racial discrimination, he said: "My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit."

It doesn't matter to the mob whether a Romney marched with MLK - the holiday season is upon us
and the liberals are hungry for blood sacrifice.

What would you say to your 12-year old if they explained an incorrect statement like Mr. Romney explained it?

His father never marched with King so I guess he was using "marched with" in the figurative sense as well.
And to be fair and balanced, h', being FOS wasn't a liability in 1992 or 1996. I have hope that things might be different this time, because it seems people are getting sick of pandering fools like Mitt and Hillary.

So how was Bill Clinton FOS?
You can start with the "I didn't inhale" business and finish with the "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" b.s. I'm sure somebody with a Clinton fetish will be more than happy to point out more examples.

C'mon now h', you are taking brofoski's answer and twisting it into a hijack of the point of the thread. It is not about whether GWB is more FOS or better/worse than BC. From the original post, the replies flowed to your asking "h': So how was Bill Clinton FOS?"
You asked a good question in this thread's context. Don't attack the response/responder just cause you didn't like his answer. Geeze, he didn't even bring up "Slick Willy" or "It depends on what the meaning of is is." (see subject title) in his response.
