Indonesian genocide in West Papua

"Not even Pol Pot had succeeded in dispatching, proportionally, as many people as the Indonesian tyrant Suharto had done in collusion with the "international community.""

And yet we allow our corporations, such as Exxon, to do business with these monsters. The US gov't, even under Carter, knew of the genocide committed with our assistance and arms, yet did nothing to stop it.

Instead of blaming this on Exxon, why don't you just admit that it was your beloved Moslems who, while exterminating infidel, pagan natives, are solely and ultimately responsible for this barbaric act of genocide.

You are just as likely to blame Adidas for an act of robbery committed by a street thug, since he was wearing sneakers made by them....

Max, don't put words in my modem. I didn't blame Exxon. I said "And yet we allow our corporations, such as Exxon, to do business with these monsters." There are Muslim monsters, Christian monsters, and Jewish monsters in the world, along with false representatives of other faiths as well, no doubt. I love NONE of them. My point was that our government knew these atrocities were going on yet continued to allow US corporations to invest in that country, and supplied many of the arms used in the slaughter, because it was good for our military industries.

Our CIA brought Suharto to power by giving his assassins a list of tens of thousands of Indonesians with socialist sympathies, who were rounded up and eliminated by troops we armed and trained. Suharto was just one more dictator, like Saddam Hussein, that we created while touting "democracy."
