The Christian bible says we are but vapors, here and gone, but our souls are eternal. He's free from the bondage of flesh, but you still can sense his loving presence, if you can rejoice in his freedom, and realize his passing on to the next dimension is your loss but his gain. You will see him again, I believe, as the life force that animates us all comes from a common source, and returns to it when the lessons of our brief lives on earth are learned. Do you think he wants you to be unhappy?

Grieving is necessary, but so is continuing with your life. He must have been a good and vital person to have affected you so profoundly, but his purpose in your life was to provide a model, not an idol. Take what lessons he taught you and teach others to keep the cycle going.

Peace be with you, brother.

haikuman,
I'm not sure where the S/N is on that machine, but it sounds like you are now the proud owner of someone else's machine... and vice versa. =:-0
