France has welcomed its Muslim immigrants as their population decline is so precipitous. They just want to keep their LEGAL immigrants from being integrated into their society, hence the recent unrest.

Very different from what's happening here with US/Mexico. IMO.

I heard once that the US/Mexico border is the only place in the world where a "first world" country borders a "third world" country.

xenophobia/racism is at high levels in Germany. unemployment coupled with Pakistanis and other non-Germans moving in have elevated tension levels there.

You are not understanding the phrase third world. When Mexico is referred to as Third World it is in a political sense, not economical. The phrase is from the cold war and denotes countries who align themselves with neither the west nor the soviet bloc.



This is a Human Development Index, green being wealthy and dark red being totally skint. As you can see Mexico is not a developing nation.

They are the quintessential "sheeple" who have that half vacant look in their eye,
for"the man" to tell them "this is how it is" - and then they go do it. I saw a person
holding a sign that said "health care and education"...a sheeple just waiting for
someone to take care of him/her - no, EXPECTING it. Like some animal in a barn.

I know Norway has serious immigration problems going on right now.

From the news I have seen, it is mostly with middle eastern folks coming into the country or are already there.

but I doubt it is anything like what we have here in the states.
