Some people just need an audience. Must be lonely in solitary in Colorado.

Has he tried hitting "Command Z"?

To me he seems to be a tiny cog who decided to masquerade as a big cog, and we cynically allowed it so as to make it look like at least somebody was going to pay for 9/11. Oops, bad idea, Moussaoui. Next time get a clue.

Apparently, he's the Ralph Wiggum of al Qaeda.

Here's the indictment: [www.usdoj.gov]

And his plea of guilty to all counts: "The court is accepting today the defendant's six pleas of guilty to the six counts of the indictment," Brinkema said. "You are found guilty at this time," she told Moussaoui. [www.cbc.ca]

He is totally guilty...of thoughtcrime.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

OR is he is totally guilty...of being an inbred, dumb-ass criminal who has finally realized that 24/7 in a 7' x 12' cell for the next 60 years really sucks?

Maybe he'll find the time to thoroughly read the Holy Quoran and understand it does not command you to murder women and children?

What Pano said!

Strength without compassion is brutality. Compassion without strength is weakness.

We must train our minds to desire what the situation demands.

Look the truth is no one will miss him and he got less than he wanted.

How does this deter anyone from attacking us?

Good point. I think the whole Moussaoui thing makes it more, rather than less, likely that others will attack. I think it will continue and enhance the perception that we are weak.

He wants to be retried, convicted, and executed, so he can get his virgins now.

If anything it will encourage more attacks amongst the weak-hearted terrorists who don't want to be martyrs. They get a show-trial that will allow them to appear defiant and menacing while saying cool stuff about Allah, and insult american judges, juries etc.

Sounds like a great viral ad campaign!

My view is that death becomes terrorists. They are quiclky forgotten, so called, martyrs. Alive, we have to deal with them. Dead, they rot.

If Sadistic Insane had been killed, Al Queda's use of Sunni Arabs as bombs would be far less.

Try this one on for size:

Moussaoui spared. Common sense at last
