My mom and I both have the printers listed below, currently having similar issues with these machines. The machines I am guessing are +/- 5 years old. She is in the next state (AZ) over, so not always easy helping with issues over the phone. QuoteSarcany Your Tripp Lite cable was designed to work as a display-only cable for USB-C ports. It passes a display signal from a USB-C Mac or PC to a display that has a Mini Displayport input. It does not pass a Thunderbolt signal. It would not work to pass any other sort of signal than video. It only works in one direction. That is, it won't even work to connect a Mini Displayport Mac to aby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
I am not up to speed yet on the nuances of specs regarding Thunderbolt cables (and perhaps the latest USB specs). My experience with Thunderbolt is still limited, feel free to help me out on any details that I might be missing out on. Focus of this thread is on the cable/adapter setups shown in BLUE below. The MacBook Air is currently on Big Sur 11.2.1, the setup below has even worked on previby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Thanks for the inputs. Will pass those along, plus I will also check to see if I have any long gone devices still on tied to my iCloud acct.by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
I found the masks now around the house handy for doing yard work when taking the electric pruning shears across the bushes, and also when getting rid of old mulch and replacing with new. Like said above, masks keep my face warmer when out walking when it's cooler weather. On my bike rides, when riding thru the an occasional cloud of gnats, makes it handy not getting any flying into mouth or nosby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
I have a question here for my sister. I don't use "Family iCloud Share Acct" (hope I got that nomenclature right), so I am hoping that I am transmitting the information correctly in her question. Here goes... My sister's family of four have a Family Share iCloud account. My understanding is that you can have up to 5 family members (that have their own iCloud accounts). They allby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Wow, these videos are terrific. I watched the short 4 minute video, now part way into the 2 hour streaming presentation. Amazing. Thanks for the posting.by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

The "outer diameter of the 777's engine cowling" is about the same as the "outer diameter of a 737's fuselage". Google This: 777 engine compared to 737 Or, click here: Check out the images. Sarcany... This "unable to delete" situation hit me again while manipulating another Catalina Install file while on my MacBookAir7,2 on Big Sur (this time 11.2). I ran into this again since I use my MacBook Air to make updated DosDude1 Catalina installation USB sticks for my 2011 MacBook Pro and 2011 Mac mini server. Before using the method I tried last time, I followed your sugby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
In Safari under Preferences... Select General Tab... Second pull down from the bottom of that Tab says "File Download Location"... Under "Other" I would imagine that you could select an external drive? On Big Sur here...by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

QuoteSarcany I'd get a USB-C/Displayport cable. Test video output from the USB-C/TB3 port. Sarcany! Your last suggestion yielded a good result! I am so happy, thanks! I bought a USB-C/Display Port adapter by Insignia from Best Buy this evening ($25). I first tried it with the LaCie, video from the TB3 port worked. Then tried it with the OWC Mercury Elite Pro, and it worked too!by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Good Idea Sarcany... I will see if someone carries an inexpensive USB-C to Display Port cable and give it a try. If I do get cable or figure out a solution that "does" what I am trying to do, then I will report back with my findings. I wish I had Mac with TB3 to test OWC Mercury Elite Pro with, but I don't. So, until then I can't rule out if I have a faulty Video Port on the OWCby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Quotebtfc I’m thinking more about power, as I know that the OWC hubs are a little more power hungry than some others. Would that lead me to think the power supply is not sized correctly for the Mercury Elite Pro? btfc... Regarding bandwidth issue (OWC Support was questioning that as well) -- If bandwidth is the issue with the Mercury Elite Pro, would it be expected to see that bandwidth issue on the LaCie 2BIG as well? I don't have a lot of experience (yet) with TB peripherals, so I don't have a lot to draw on when paying with TB Docks/Peripherals. Thanks for the help to you both, been learning asby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Sarcany, I did try that, but tried it again as follows: I first set this up to verify the DELL Monitor was working (LaCie only, no other peripherals). DELL Monitor (2560 x 1440) worked: MacBook Air >>> Thunderbolt 2 Cable >>> Thunderbolt 2 Adapter to Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) >>> LaCie 2BIG >>> Display Port Cable >>> Dell Monitorby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Yes to the Display Port Cable having same Display Ports on both ends. OWC support suggested today that I try a Thunderbolt cable without an adapter, which right not I do not have. I do know the Thunderbolt/adapter works since it works with the LaCie setup in passing video to the Display Port. The Thunderbolt/Adapter works with the OWC unit, but not getting video from the Display Port. Iby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
MacBook Air >>> Thunderbolt 2 Cable >>> Thunderbolt 2 Adapter to Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) >>> LaCie 2BIG (or, the OWC Mercury Elite Pro) >>> Display Port Cable >>> Dell Monitor This setup works with the LaCie 2BIG device. When I slip in the Mercury Elite Pro in where the LaCie 2BIG was, I can transfer data from the Mercury Elite Pro, butby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

Impeachment can also be used as a tool to keep 45 from holding any government office in the future, right? If so, that is good rationale to pursue an impeachment. I believe I heard that an impeachment can be finished even after he is out of office (?). I know the goal though is to remove ASAP.
