QuoteSteve G. "After his first marriage, to Annette Merar, broke up, Ronettes leader singer Ronnie Bennett became his girlfriend and muse. He married her in 1968 and they adopted three children. But she divorced him after six years, claiming in a memoir that he held her prisoner in their mansion, where she said he kept a gold coffin in the basement and told her he would kill her and put herby JoeM - Tips and Deals

QuoteRobert M JoeH, I didn't miss your point. I ignored it because, much like many things these days, what Brooklynites think has no bearing on reality. Robert Robert, Joe H hasn’t weighed in on this thread yet. And Brooklynites thoughts have never bordered on reality.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuotepRICE cUBE QuoteJoeM Are most folks here nixing Sony mirrorless because of pre existing Canon or Nikon lens collections or a dislike for the Sony menus? I’m still shooting with a Sony a6000, which I like, but I think I’ve finally learned enough to justify the expense of going to a full frame at some point in the future since I like to shoot without flash indoors with my grand kids.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteRobert M Joe, Nope. Brooklyn is a borough of NYC. Robert You missed my point. Don't tell that to Brooklyn. They think they are their own country.by JoeM - Tips and Deals

You can go to settings>general>iPad storage and see what’s taking up all that space, which I think you might have done. Then look at how much space yours apps data are using. FaceBook and others leave a lot of garbage in their caches so you can delete those apps doing that and reinstall them to get back space. I use an app called MagicCleaner to get rid of junk as well.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
Quotehal QuoteJoeM Quotehal QuoteJoeM I really like Black Pumas, especially this live version of Confines they recently did on CBS Saturday Morning. (30 sec commercial at the head) That was a nice track - a nicely composed song. Do you know what that fender the lead guitarist was playing? Never seen that. It’s a Fender thinline 72 with humbuckers and Bigsby. Looks like a roasted neck onby JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteC(-)ris I've done Applecare+ and Squaretrade. Both have done replacements. Squaretrade was a little bit more difficult than Applecare since I had to get quotes and email them in vs just going to an apple store or doing a mail in repair. I didn't know about SquareTrade needing quotes. Thanks!by JoeM - Tips and Deals
Quotebhaveshp I had never gotten iPhone insurance and had never broken an iPhone since the first model came out. Of course this year, I dropped my 3 week old iPhone 12 Pro and cracked the screen. Thankfully, Apple lets you add-on AppleCare for up to a month after purchase. So I got it and paid the $29 fee for glass replacement. It was bound to happen sometime. Wow! That’s a lucky break, liby JoeM - Tips and Deals

Quotegraylocks I used to do SquareTrade coverage but their prices have gone up considerably. Last time I looked Applecare was actually a better deal. that being said, i haven't bothered in many years except for my Apple Watch's Applecare. I checked on both. AppleCare is now $200, $270 with theft. SquareTrade is now $149 for two years but no theft. Here’s a CR article about AppleCare coby JoeM - Tips and Deals
Quotejdc Not the prettiest, but someone mentioned this grippy case... I have one in my cart... but fine with my $12 spigen right now... if I ever get the itch for a new one, might give it a try. Quotejdc Not sure it really answers the question, but no. Check the fine print. I think AC offered more options? Might depend on how hard you are on them... or whether or not you use a case? Oldest broke her Xr screen, the only time she ever took the case off... its 100% forbidden on her 12. =) Not some giant ugly otterbox, just a simple $12 TPu case. Also got a glass screen protector.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
Just got an IPhone 12Pro and saw that Yahoo is now offering cellphone insurance which led me to wonder if getting insurance for it is a good idea. I think I had Squaretrade back when I first got my 6S and I kept it for a year or so as it was quite a bit cheaper than AppleCare. Anybody insuring their phones?by JoeM - Tips and Deals

The odd thing about that unit’s manual is that there is really no info on what’s being passed to the XLR out. That’s why I suggested the 1/4” mix out >USB I/O>USB IN on the mini. That XLR could be line level, balanced out (mix out or not) or mic level out but they provide no info that I saw.by JoeM - Tips and Deals

There’s plenty of good new music out there. Because of technology there’s more music available now than ever before so obviously they’ll be more mediocre music available. Trends influence business and business influences trends so that has an impact on what is commercially available. But the great thing about today’s music is that there’s pretty much something for everyone available. Yoby JoeM - Tips and Deals

Just looked, you have no audio inputs on that mini, only audio outs. So I think you’d need at least a USB I/O to get audio in.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
I would think you don’t need the XLR out to connect to your mini. You’d use the 1/4” out and either use an 3.5mm adapter or a cable with the different connectors on each end. I didn’t see if that 1/4” out is stereo or mono out. Same with what the XLR is.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
