I've used epoxy tape in a similar situation. If it's a drain there is little pressure and basically it's a matter of stopping a a low pressure leak. JB Weld might work but I'd still put epoxy tape over it.by tlh828 - Tips and Deals

Filemaker, about once a year, offers a 2-for-1 deal; they did so recently for Filemaker Advanced 18, an opportunity to cut the price in half if you can find another interested party. (I'm on Filemaker Advanced 17, having gone through Filemaker Advanced 8,9, and 12. I need the scripting and debugging capabilities of the Advanced versions.) Panorama would be a good and highly capable replaceby tlh828 - Tips and Deals
I've make Brave my default browser and like it a lot. I really like the way it saves login and password info and automatically inserts it when I visit a site. And it seems faster than Safari and Firefox. I was originally attracted to the way it would display bookmarks at the top of the screen ( I don't like to have to squint). A new version has come on the scene in which the size of these bby tlh828 - Tips and Deals

My heavily-scripted application unexpectedly quits at certain points in the program. I'm suspicious that it has something to do with "Show Custom Dialog" steps. I can't seem to trace it further with Script Debugger. The solution has been to restore Filemaker Pro Advanced to the previous update version. Occurs on one Mojave and two High Sierra Mac Pros. I use 10.6.8 on a headless Mini with an Apple USB Fax Modem connected to a VOIP "landline". (Yes, some still must be able to send and receive faxes). Remote screen sharing allows complete access. Works great.by tlh828 - Tips and Deals
Two Mac Pro 5,1s with AMD HD7950 Sapphire cards upgraded to Mojave but both hung up and wouldn't complete upgrading to 10.14.1. I think the graphics cards may be the problem. Be sure to backup. It saved me.by tlh828 - Tips and Deals

Some programs that were running fine under Sierra have some problems with High Sierra. FileMaker 12 for example.by tlh828 - Tips and Deals
Filemaker 12 code works fine up to Sierra. But High Sierra broke the "Show Custom Dialog" script step and causes Filemaker to crash. Possibly or probably other scripts are broken as well although other solutions which do not use the "Show Custom Dialog" script step work without a hitch.by tlh828 - Tips and Deals

Onamuji - haven't tried the global search. Don't know what it is even in FileMaker. But I was able to display a photo from a FileMaker DB and paste it into a FileMaker-initiated email and send it.by tlh828 - Tips and Deals
FileMaker says "FileMaker 14 and earlier versions of FileMaker have not been tested or certified with macOS Sierra. These products were developed and released before macOS Sierra became available" But it seems to work fine on my applications.by tlh828 - Tips and Deals
Snow Leopard has a great Fax Modem feature which makes it a must have in my office. Otherwise, I'm good with El Cap and will upgrade to Sierra, no issues except the washed out, Jonathan Ive inspired text,by tlh828 - Tips and Deals
