Since the first of the year, a few of my meds have been $15 for a 90 day supply, that our cheapo Part D Plan wasn't competitive on..... we had been using Single Care/GoodRx for those, but our pharmacist said, "it's now better with Medicare..." Not sure how, or why the $15 pricing pops up like that, as Medicare's site shows different (more expensive) pricing for the meds thru our WellCarby Buzz - Tips and Deals
Quotemrbigstuff Buzz, good story (not unusual). And, the gearhead in me wants to know... you know, what happened to said vehicle? Unc and cuz, and and even older bro cuz had too many nice/muscle cars to remember at this point, but that Mach I was definitely one of my faves (and I sure they'd kept that one, especially so). Pretty (99.44%) sure Unc's next ride was the Boss 302, circa 1972, that aby Buzz - Tips and Deals
Anker 7/10 WonderHub..... Pricey now, but I got killer Lightning Deal for $43 awhile back. These days, I'd go w/ the Rosonway 10 port for ~$40.... Or their 13 port w/ double the PSU power for ~$55. I have the Anker on one of the cMP towers here, and the Rosonway 13 port on the other. Both have been excellent. And as Doc says, get the 4 port iMac. I don't think it's still technically supported, but it should work a couple more OS's back since it was intro'ed during the Big Sur era, and M$'s gig is to go back ~3 OS's. Personally only tried on M1 iMac & Air that both originally shipped w/ Big Sur. 2¢ guess. ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
If ya wanna go real cheap. Here ya go for 1/3 the price..... Stacksocial variants (like the one you linked) seem to run $25 - $50 all the time, w/ $40 being the most common price. There are links that let you avoid the $1.99 "Handling Fee", that for a downloaded key, I'm wondering what it's needed for, other than an add'l cash grab. I can vouch for the Stacksocial variants, as I bitby Buzz - Tips and Deals

Not usually, but have been swapping/copying data to USB/FW800 drives for the short term. I've copied/cloned drives (up to ~450GB data) without issue; it seems to not like semi-heavy use, especially Chrome. It behaved much worse when overfull 500GB HDD was in it than after 1TB SSD was transplanted in its place. My uncle had a brand new 1969 Mustang Mach I w/ Super Cobra Jet 428. If it costs less than say $1,200.00, try it. If it's more than that, better to put the $$$ towards H&B. Old school, well made kb's are da bomb! ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
As Doc notes, Chrome has seemed to be the most offensive culprit in the mix. KP's seem to be mostly related to having recently started up Chrome. I did re-up the El Cap install, which didn't have any apparent positive effect on the KP situation, so a grumpy GPU is rapidly heading to the top of "the list". I'll look into disabling the discrete GPU. Here's another KP log from several hby Buzz - Tips and Deals

Well, I bought a couple of (then sinfully expensive) SanDisk Extreme Pro 16GB SD cards about 13 years ago; and while still on their initial usages, both failed. Thankfully I had saved the contents of one of the SD cards, so no memories lost there, but the other SD card has our only pics of Baby Buzz struttin' his stuff for his HS prom. UCLA had a horrible shoot-around before the second started, so I had to bite my lip, and pray after that scare. So glad The Pride of Westwood hung on. That was a serious defensive battle. ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals

Do you have Finder/View prefs set to show connected devices? If/once you can see TDM computer on yours, you should (hopefully) be able to clone a working drive onto it, w/ CCC. Not sure what the latest/best MacOS is for CCC is to clone onto TDM machine, but once you get it working that way, you should be able to upgrade as needed from there. RAM passes tests, but I do have a NIB, er, NIPC (New In Plastic Clamshell), pair of same spec sticks that never made it into their intended home of a similar vintage Mini, that could be swapped in. OTOH, (knock wood), it's been behaving nicely since its last temper tantrum, so hopefully it was all just adjusting to a fresh environment (fingers crossed).... ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals

SSD was cloned from another old MBP that wasn't problematic. Way more problems before upgrades, so too hard to discern if old and current issues have any similar origins. I guess I could run a redo of El Cap from the Recovery Partition to see if that does anything/helps? ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
2010 MBP 15", running El Cap, 8GB/1TB SSD, can't seem to stay running more than a couple of days w/o having a panic attack, requiring a restart. 1TB SSD just replaced 500GB HDD, and while I was in there, did some spring cleaning, swapped in a new battery, and re-seated the RAM for good measure. When not panicking, it's running a lot better, faster, smoother than before the makeover. In its pby Buzz - Tips and Deals
