Spectrum cable just raised our rates again. I do enjoy having a DVR to skip commercials. I’m thinking of buying a TiVo to replace the Spectrum DVR. Cost? Monthly fees? Recommendations? Thanks in advance. John

I had the same problem recently. Go to settings>battery >healthy. Does it say you need to have the Battery replaced. That was my problem. I took it to the Apple Store for a replacement. It still seemed To drain down a little quickly for the first day or to but it’s back to normal now .

My son has a 2012 MacBook running Catalina 15.7.4 (up to date according to System Update) on which he runs Windows 10 via Bootcamp for Grad School. He's never had a problem until 2 days ago when he tired to boot into Windows 10. It booted as far as showing the Windows Icon on screen then the screen went black and key board was unresponsive. Subsequent attempts to boot up and we got an error

That's exactly the situation I have. Went from cable to fiber now I'm only able to receive but not send mail from the old address until the cable company drops that too.

pop-server.wi.rr.com and smtp-server.wi.rr.com. My wife has a user account on this computer and her email works fine except she's been getting messages that server certificates are out of date. She then is asked to trust the server certificate and mail works fine. These servers belong to time warner before Spectrum bought them out.

I haven't changed anything for this email account. It's alwaysworked ok I was able to log into the account directly from the Road Runner Webmail using Safari.

Hi all, I'm having trouble with loging into the Mail app. I'm running Sierra on a MacBook Air ( early 2015. When I open the Mail app, I get a error message "Can't connect to the account "JEB's Email" Enter the password for the user "jeb". Hi all, Thanks for the suggestions. I switched the old 3.5HD to a newer different external case and it shows up on the desktop now I used migration assistant app to move the files to the SSD and most of the Old apps seem to be working under High Sierra so for now l’ll leave it. Hi All, I just upgraded my iMac 2010 to a new OWC 500 GB SSD with their up upgrade kit. I didn't clone the drive before the install because I thought I would use the old HD (running Sierra) linked via usb to boot and use CCC. CCC hung up so I rebooted and tried time machine. That's exactly what I did. Is there any way to correct this? As I said, I have a Time machine backup. What do I need to do to use an old back up from 3 days ago. How do I get Time Machine to allow me to access an older backup? Should I delete the Mac OS El Cap on the Mini's internal drive?

Screwed up SSD Desktop file by running 10.11.5 from another Hard drive - 7 years ago

Hi all, I've been running my 2009 Mac Mini from an external SSD with Mac OS 10.11.5. I still have a copy of 10.11.5 on the Mini's Hard drive and I had to boot from the Mini's hard drive to connect to my son's computer. AfterI was done transferring files, I reset the Startup Drive to the SSD in system preferences and rebooted. Now, the SSD shows the desktop that was on the Mini's Hard Drive and

New user improved the desktop pictures but the apple toolbar and some parts of browser pages a re still purple. I have a 2nd drive on this machine with 10.4.x on it I booted it up and everything is normal. I'm going to do a reinstall. Thanks for the suggestions to help.
