I've been using Airmail for the past few years. Lots to like about it, but the "delayed send" feature has saved me from embarrassment a few times. Once I hit the "send" button, I've got 90 seconds to change my mind or double-check for errors, etc. SR

It's been a long time, but back in 2007, I bought a Honda Odyssey on eBay. I flew from Virginia to Georgia to pick it up. Seller had all of the paperwork ready that would document the sale and my legal ownership. This may have included temporary plates. No problems at all driving back home. SR

I ran CS6 all the way through Mojave. It was stable and reliable for me under 10.14. Recently, I upgraded my system to Catalina. I'm now running CS6 virtually under VMWare Fusion. So far, so good. SR P.S. I've transitioned most of my professional work to the Affinity suite.

After spending 30 minutes on the phone with Apple Support, who assured me that this could not be done, I was able to update to the latest compatible version using the "Purchased" page at the App Store. No deletion necessary. Problem solved! Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply. I moved Logic to the trash, then opened the App Store. I get a dialog that the latest version cannot be run on my drive. It did not offer any other version, unfortunately. Is there any other method?

Hi friends, Just updated from Mojave to Catalina, and I was hoping to update Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro from the app store. I realize the latest updates require newer versions of the OS, but I'l almost certain that there were Catalina-based updates released in the interim, which I was unable to get. Is there anyway to get these interim updates presently? SR

Yes, I was able to non-destructively update the TB drive to APFS. Having done so, I was unable to boot back into that drive. Working with Apple, I was able to run the Catalina installer on that drive but the install failed rendering the drive unreadable. Presently, I've reformatted the drive to MacOS Extended and am cloning back Mojave from a backup via CCC. Model Identifier: iMac 18.3

Thanks! I went through the steps in this video to "bless" the external SSD: When I rebooted selecting the external SSD, initially, I got a circle with a bar on screen, then that cleared after a few minutes and it booted into Mojave on my SSD. I then tried to run the Catalina installer on the SSD, but after initially starting up, it went to the circle bar again and hung. Now

I presently have 2 backups via Carbon Copy Cloner. One is a partition on an external HDD. The other is a JBOD (2 SSDs). Which would be better to use in this instance?

I have an iPhone SE purchased new about four years ago. Lately, the battery is intermittently giving me trouble. Sometimes won't charge, sometimes dropping a lot on the percentage meter in a short period of time. I'm wondering if it's time for a new battery. And, if so, is replacement something I can do myself? Not to mention that $1.25 now gets you significantly smaller packages for many items. Dishwashing liquid used to be 50 oz, now 30 oz. Laundry powder went from 24 oz to 16 oz. Massive price increases well beyond the apparent 25%.
