I wonder if any or all of these prints could be reproduced via PhotoShop, though some of those prints look almost beyond redemption I've seen some badly over- and under-exposed historic movie footage that someone was able to reproduce to very acceptable standards.

Thanks for posting this item, eustacetilley! That issue's publication of Dr. Schmidt's findings was a memorable moment for me. It revived an old, first "love". What do you guys use in place of Flash? Eustacetilley? I too have FireFox but don't like or use it anymore I'm still on an eMac using the 10.4.11 version of Tiger and NO version of Flash. Does she have Flash Player on her Mac? That may be her problem. It was on mine until I uninstalled it. That ended the frequent crashes - like two, three, four times an hour. Or maybe she should first go out to the official Flash Player website and install the latest version compatible with her OS. Has she recently installed a version from elsewhere but the official site?
