Updates for MONTEREY as well... macOS 12.6.6 Safari 16.5by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
QuoteGGD What is that at the very right of this picture? Looks like a power cord, but gigantic compared to the monitor next to it. Or are these doll-house computers. Ha! I didn't see the illusion until you mentioned it, but now I can't unsee it...by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Quoteka jowct Data Rescue is one of those apps you almost never need, but when you do, you REALLY need it. Had a similar instance as you several years back, I feel your pain. Your last sentence rings true!by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
THANKS for the pictures of Berlin. I went through Checkpoint Charlie for a few hours during my European vacation, back in 1990. I came across some of my pictures from that trip while digging through photos over the past weekend! If I get a good scan, perhaps I will post a few here, or on a different thread. _____________ Side question on your cleaning up of photos: Not sure whby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

DP... I enjoy your photos posted above. Do the birds drop off loose change for the feed? Curious, being a newbie with some simple camera gear, I have a couple of questions: (1) Do you recall the lens and exposure settings for your moon shot? Nice picture. (I was playing around with moon shots late last year. Plan to get out there and try again sometime soon.) (2) Same questionby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Quotehal I was one who dived into the Dell Mini craze many years ago. OMG! I was part of that craze too! That was a fun project although I didn’t have that computer very long. A friend of mine got laid off during that time and needed a computer, so I repurposed it back to Windows (his preference OS) and gave it to him so that he could use while job hunting.by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
A friend of mine bought the iPhone 13 mini last May the same time that I bought my iPhone 13. He loves that iPhone 13 mini. Enjoy your new iPhone 13 mini!by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

QuoteBuzz Yeah, that's the biggest hunk of titanium I've ever seen. About the titanium used in a plane: also: Excerpt from link above: Acquisition of titanium Titanium was in short supply in the United States, so the Skunk Works team was forced to look elsewhere for the metal. Much of the needed material came from the Soviet Union. Colonel Rich Graham, SR-71 pilot,by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
I love visiting that A-12 aircraft at the California Science Center along with the Space Shuttle Orbiter Endeavour. The SR-71 and Space Shuttle Orbiter were a big part of my life. My dad spent most of his career programming, updating and maintaining software for the Nav System on the SR-71 until it retired. During much of my childhood, I never knew that since he couldn’t talk about it. Mostby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

Glad you had a good experience buying a used piece of Apple Gear from OWC. As an additional data point for buying used gear from OWC, I bought a used 2014 Mac Mini 3.0 GHz i7 from them a year ago, been extremely pleased with it as well.by SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

I don't venture into the logs at all, have not studied that area to see what information that I can get from them (I need to study and understand that area). So, in trying to answer your question, I am not quite sure what I am looking for or if I am even looking in the correct area. That being said, is the information I am looking for actually in the Diagnostics Report folder? What features inby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
Gareth... Thanks for the input on the configuration you had on your 2012 Mini. If I understand the configuration you described correctly, you had two docks daisy chained running off one TB1 port, with one 1440p connected to each? I was also wondering if i could do that with my two OWC hard drive docks (mentioned above), except mine would be running on Thunderbolt 2. I'll have to play arouby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

I have two TiVo Premier units and one TiVo Bolt. The two Premier units are on Over-The-Air (OTA), the TiVo Bolt is using a Cable Card from Spectrum. - Last year I had a failed cable card which was replaced, thought it was going to be a challenge but they "found" a replacement. They did tell me to expect sometime in future that the Cable Card would be going away. - I am easily ableby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals

Thanks Gareth (and the others in previous parts of this thread)... The details above were a bit confusing when I first started digging into the details, but the fog has lifted quite a bit... Now that I know those details, I can better anticipate what FOVs I will see through the EF-S 24mm f2.8 and the EF 50mm f1.8 prime lenses by looking at similar focal lengths through my ZOOM lenses. BTW: I already have these lenses: EF-S 18-55mm EF-S 55-250mm I see what you said above regarding the 100mm acting as an equivalent FOV as a 160mm. I am starting to get this. However, I am a little confby SKYLANE - Tips and Deals
