After using DosDude1 patcher 1.4.7, I easily got 10.15.7 loaded on my MacBook Pro... CatalinaOTAswufix.app <-- With the help of this app, I was able to successfully get the 2022-005 Security Update patcher on my computer which got me to the latest build of 19H2026. N-OS X-tasy! and gabester When I use CatalinaOTAswufix.app to try and load an update, it does show me the last 2022-005 update to install. Great, at least I can do it all in one update. However, trying to get CatalinaOTAswufix.app to work is a challenge. Will keep tinkering around with it, I'll figure it out sooner or later! Thanks for your inputs... Microman and sekker H

That is a 2011 MBP you are having issue with? If yes, maybe you are experiencing the known issue with the dedicated AMD GPU? If you are, there is a way to disable the dedicated GPU and then continue running it off the integrated GPU. I have posts here on the forum on how I did that. Quotegadje I mean make a new user account on that Mac and use the same iCloud account. Just as a test to see if it works or not. That makes sense to me now. If the issue still persists with the "new user" account, that would point to corrupted app(s) that are shared across the user accounts. I am guessing that is what you are suggesting...
