I'm not the one saying you need to lose weight! But since you did ask... it's better to make a few small changes in your all around diet than to sacrifice 1 meal a day. And I doubt you need anyone to tell you where to make those small changes. I hate diets, I think they cause more problems than solutions, and will always advocate sensible eating where you are not deprived of the foods you like. E

Never skip a meal, that just leaves you famished and you make up for it at the next meal. I'd just shoot for lower calorie lunches. Half a sandwich and some soup. Skip the chips. Have salads. Also skip the snacks or bring your own to work and make them healthy. Ha! I did the same thing to my daughter's cell phone, only it went through the dryer too. It was dead, never to return to life. I bought a used on ebay to replace it. You just have to make sure it can be activated with your current carrier. The guy at Verizon led me to believe that if it had just gone through the washer than it might have worked again. But I don't know if that is true.

I don't know if charitable organizations can use ebay for resale profits...guess they can. But I think I'd get more selling raffle tickets at bingo. Four tickets for $1.00 can really get them going.

Paul, tell them to just turn the kids loose! Honestly, using a mouse is like using a push button phone these days. Remember when we were kids and were taught how to use a rotary phone? Schools don't teach kids how to use phones anymore. Other than 911 is for help. The best you and they can do is have the kids play just about any game, like The Playroom, to get experience in mousing. I assume

Wow. I'm glad that guy thought to take those before picts, but it's horrible to see what happened. How are things going with you Zoidberg? I assume you got your family all moved into a new house? They need mousing lessons? I've always found kids to be very quick at picking it up. Even finding out things that teachers didn't know you could do. Seems to me that any app that has kids moving the mouse around would be fine. Like Concentration where you have to match pictures.

The only censorship I observed was conducted within the forum guidelines. Links to other deal sites like fat wallet etc. were not allowed but there was never a cohesive attempt to block other forum sites. Occasionally the AS crossover caused problems, but that was covered under the forum guidelines. This is entirely different. And puzzling to me. I would have thought Dealnews would have just keep

Can we block images? I didn't see that in the forum settings. Some folks can get a little crazy with the images and it's best to block them when viewing from work.
