A nice party trick, very nice in fact. But I'd say you can't call it a "Pro" till you crack the nut of getting rid of anemic built in video.

$145 for *two* tickets? That's cheap. Shows in Las Vegas you'd pay $145 for each ticket.
But then I'm not a Seinfled fan, so anything over $5 a ticket and I'd lose interest.

O-
Ideally, not. When you convert some typefaces to outline, you can lose some of the subtleties of kerning and tracking and type can appear heavier.

Breast cancer surgery and the guy is unemployed. That's no small potatoes, especially these days.
Is giving them a chance to get things together going to be an extreme financial hardship for you or just an inconvenience? If it's more a matter of inconvenience, I'd have a hard time not giving them a last chance to pull it together. Not to say that it's somehow your responsibility or that you ha

Years ago we had a client who's parents named him "Po", just "Po" (They somehow had his name legally changed to just one word, which I didn't know you could do.). One day he came in just walking on air. When I greeted him with the usual, 'Hey Po, how are you doing?' he got this BIG grin on his face and said, "Nope, not "Po", "Ralph Smith". I had it leg

Quotejdctrue -- if you need that -- but then add $700+ for a nice 24" monitor
and the imacs are near 90% as fast as the towers
I already have a nice monitor set-up so that saves me a nice stack of cash . The 2.8 iMac, while no slouch, takes a pretty good kicking even from the 4 core 2.8Ghz tower in an early test over on Barefeats. But a lot of that depends on what kind of things you want

Quotebazookamanthe way I've always outlined fonts is to just use 2 layers. One layer has a 4 point stroke and the top layer has none. You end up with a 2 point stroke on the outside.
That's the way I learned to do it too; way back in the dark ages in Before&After Magazine. The characters retain more of their original form that way.

$2052 after tax isnt bad
It isn't, but $2199 for a quad core 2.8 Mac Pro from Macconnection is where my money would go. Only $147 more and a whole lot more giddy-up and expandability for the dollar.
But let's face, I wouldn't exactly be in tears if I had either one. Heck, I still have lots of love for my DP 1.8Ghz G5 Powermac.

QuotergGThinking about it, I guess baby Aaron wouldn't be one of the Oceanic 6 because he was born on the island. I haven't figured out how they will explain how Kate had the baby so soon after they crashed, since she wasn't pregnant, when she boarded the plane.
Jack's testimony at the trial discounts Aaron being one of the six. He says that eight people survived the crash and two of the eight la

QuoteSDGuyReading over some documentation for my new project - here's a typical sentence:

I know that author's work well. Somewhere on the cover it should say, "Written by the JERK"

I think it was actually 3 minutes and 10 seconds difference, not 31 minutes.

Was he walking around in the background of one of the backstories and I missed him?

In April 2009 or thereabouts, when you file your taxes for 2008, the IRS will run the calculation for the stimulus rebate again. If the results show that you would have received more (due to an additional child, for instance), you will be sent the difference (or owe less on your final tax bill). If your results show that you would have received a smaller rebate, then you get to

Quotejdci replaced both a G5 DP 1.8 and 2.0 with new AL iMacs, they kick the G5s a$$ everyday and twice on sunday
sold the G5s for $1250 and $1150 so 2 new imacs only cost me $900
Are the iMacs the 2.4 or 2.8Ghz models? I've been thinking about doing the exact same thing, but the 2.8Ghz iMac being so close in price to a tower has kept me on the fence.
