One thing - friends who TNR swear by KFC as bait - evidently it is irresistable to ferals. If the cat with the injured leg seems to be getting around ok and there is no obvious open wound, he's probably ok. The cats will certainly help with your rodent problems. Putting birdseed into metal cans will minimize the ability for rodents to get into the storage.

I've bought a lot of bands on e-bay for fractions of what you pay on Apple or even Amazon. Far more styles and colors than you can get elsewhere and quality is good

Every so often, one of the local banks has a "shred event" where you can take papers in to be shredded by a huge machine - they ask for a small "donation" - if you have a lot to do, it is worth checking out.

My Samsung is from 2017 - od enough that some app makers don't support it - but it is as bright and clear as the day we brought it home. It is literally on for at least 12 hours a day - background noise.

Old is pretty relative - it is only about 5 years old and works perfectly - not sure of the model - but reading online certain apps are only supported 2018 and later. Seems strange that it is already "obsolete"

I just signed up for "free" Apple TV+ but my "old" Samsung TV doesn't have an app for Apple TV+ ( didn't have one for paramount + but got around it thru Amazon Prime). Anyone know of a workaround? No FIre, or like gizmo attached.

It depends on where you live. Fairbanks Alaska requires a warmer jacket than Seattle WA, and Seattle a warmer jacket than Dallas TX

The biggest thing you can do now for kidney support is NO DRY FOOD. High quality canned with minimal grain and lots of water - even if you have to give it to him with a syringe (no needle). Eventually kidney support involves giving fluids subcutaneously.

Internal modem - nothing wrong with the router - all the other computers in the house stay connected just fine - I can connect teathered through my iPhone. Connection seems unstable - will connect and I can be online for a minute or two and then it drops. Any ideas? I have restarted several times. MBP 2018 Catalina

When I delivered mail back in college summers, I got cash. These days, we have a PO Box, so no carrier - I bring in a couple of loaves of sweet pumpkin bread for all the workers to share and have always gotten nice thanks from everyone. We also drop off cookies a couple of times a year.
