I'd do it myself.
You can get waxes with a bit of stain in them that might help match the old with the new. (I imagine you can add some stain to wax, although I've never done it).
I used to have a waxed floor and I used a Sears home buffer every year or so. I have also borrowed a small industrial buffer that was faster, although not easier. I would be sure to wipe up the whole area with
