Mercury in its elemental form is a quite dense, very heavy silvery liquid. It has a high surface tension, so if you were to pour some into a container it is most likely to form little balls of mercury, and is very unlikely to stick to anything. If you were to drink some, it would quickly pass through your system, with little absorption. The problem with it is when it has been (usually bacteriallyby Diana - Tips and Deals

Quoteanonymouse1 The software hack for the 2011 works only sometimes. The 2015 15” MBP is a great machine-my wife has one. Also it’s possible to upgrade the SSD with an adapter to 1TB, and maybe 2TB. a 1TB upgrade (3rd party) is about $100 plus labor. The search for a new *to me* notebook has ended, I believe. A 2015 15" MBP from OWC will work handily (I think), with the only drawback if it can be determined as such is that the keyboard is Taiwanese/English, which will bother me because, just because... it's different. OK, so I have a touch of OCD. Sue me. The 2015 will most likely run almost everything I need to run without having to upgby Diana - Tips and Deals

A laptop is convenient as there are three locations I use the machine: at work, for retrieving references and papers, and analyzing large datasets of 1-2 GB files; home, for the more normal applications; and at another lab where (I hope) I can get back to collecting, analyzing, interpreting data, and writing the manuscripts for submission to an appropriate journal. Hello all, The subject says it in a nutshell. My much beloved 2011 17" MBP has started showing problems, specifically video card problems. If you have another Px2 look at the area that S-T and Racer X have pointed to. I doubt that there is a battery there, but I could be wrong. It could also be mounted on the underside. If you haven't already, go see your doctor. Thumb pain is not fun.
