It seems like it comes up about every month or so; I have a ...bit... of a question.
We all know that Apple really messed up with this. Their Podcasts is not what I need, apparently, because:
I'm not a "with-it" kid. I don't want to have to continuously stream what I'm listening to, especially if I'm in the car driving from one place to another, or I'm somewhere that I don't get c

Calling the case unfounded and frivolous, he ordered the attorneys to pay the defendant's legal fees. Those fees will most likely be passed along to Lake and Finchem.
Can they do that? Clearly the judge's intent was to penalize the attorneys for their frivolous actions - passing the buck to their clients neutralizes the judge's intent.

QuotergGThat typo is too funny.
Not a typo. Rhonda Santis is how I refer to him these days.
Then, I object to the use of my first name in association with him.
Okay, then I won't use it here.
How about changing it to RhonderSantis? DunderSantis?
I would object if you associated my name like that, too.

I saw the same thing mentioned in Washington Post today. I think the way these nuts interpret the numbers is crazy. Here is how these idiots think:
if you have 1,000,000, of which 95% are vaccinated and 5% are not,
And if those 950,000 vaccinated, the death rate is 0.2%, you have 1900 deaths
and from the 50,000 unvaccinated people the death rate is 2%, then you have 1000 death

Yeah, but this is someone who made commitments to a lot of people, people who elected him to office. Even if he is now ineffective, he should at least honor those commitments.
Continue to try until the term is up; leave gracefully when the term is up. It says a lot about someone’s character.

And this is why the Apple store webpage on my phone cannot remember that I don’t live in Texas, but consistently wants to revert to the Galleria Mall as my preferred location? The guy at the Apple store said it was because the servers were located there. Which I just gave him the look that said “yeah right.”
Edit: the Galleria Mall is in Dallas TX. Or Fort Worth. Or Houston. I’m in Okl

It depends on the value of the data.
I don’t know if they are still in business, but someplace like DriveSavers may be what you want.
Years ago at work we had a drive fail and they saved the bacon. They have parts to replace the failed parts on the drive, and potentially get it running again. They pull the data and send it back to you. There are no guarantees though.

Diana - when the AW alerts emergency services it gives location by GPS coordinates so that’s how they know where you are. this info is also then relayed to any emergency contacts you list in the Health app.
i don’t see how a non - cellular AW would be able to do this if the phone isn’t in range. i have a cellular AW but no active plan for it. i wonder if my watch could ma

I have not tested whether or not the non-cell version watch can make 911 calls without being in bluetooth range of the phone; if it is in range of a wifi signal, it might try but there is no guarantee that emergency services will know exactly where you are located without a person giving them the location. It's a bit of a gray area in that it is supposed to be able to do it, but it just may fail.

Are the corrections the same for both eyes? If so, contacts may be okay for you, BUT….
How often do you look around your current glasses? As in, over the top for more distant objects. If you do it often, then contacts will not really work for you. Additionally it is easy to mix up the contacts unless there is some marking on them (experience here). Bifocals work if you can train yourself to

Good news/bad news:
Good news! Got the oil changed on my car.
Bad news! The inspection I asked for returned a few items like glued-together side lights, bad wiring... which I'll have to take back to the repair place to get fixed, since it should be under warranty. But I asked for them to check it over, so...
Good news! They checked over my car.

I wouldn't open the case up with a big hole, as it might need more structure to hold it together. I'd take the phone out, mark the spots, and drill holes through the back of the case for ventilation. Make a design of some kind if you want. A light sanding along with the use of a jeweler's file will take the rough edges off.
Now it's bespoke!

Oakley wants to sell more glasses/frames.
Can you post some pictures? I need a view of the top, looking down at them, and a view of the bottom looking upward at the point where the frame and the bow(?) (or is it the ear piece?) connects. A bend in the frame, as if you were closing the bows together prior to setting the glasses down, would be most helpful.

The mice were engineered to die easily (somebody tell me why it's advantageous to breed mice that die easily), and the engineered version of the virus is less deadly than the original virus, which killed 100% of the mice in that part of the study.
It could simply be that the mice were bred to a specific genotype, and that genotype isn't hardy. I've seen times when a mo
