The M-B G-wagen is an old design. Dick Moore is right about the Hummer thing.
Same with the Commander; it was designed to compete with the Hummer. However, it's not selling well (although you see a lot of them in the Detroit area). I heard a local radio business news commentator say that is because the Commander was built to answer a question that was never asked...

A couple of weeks ago my brother was visiting and he wanted a new camera. Did the Pricegrabber thing and ordered one from Beach Camera. The next day his CC company called to ask if he had ordered a grand worth of computer equipment. His card was not charged although he had to close it out.
So, somebody had got his card info even tho when we ordered-from my iMac-I had checked to make the site was

>but I can't stand digital artifacts. I can't hardly watch TV at my parents', who have DISH Network.
I have Dish and have no complaints. I would recommend that your folks get a tech out there as when I first got Dish I had loss of signal in the lightest of rain. Turned out the dish wasn't aligned properly the first time. Since that, I have lost a signal three times in two years and that was

20" iMac 2.0 Core Duo 2GB RAM 10.4.9
I have had this behavior since I bought it last August and it isn't a big deal but I've noticed that my sleep options are erratic. I have the Energy Saver set for the Display to sleep after 10 minutes and the computer to sleep after 2 hours. However, when I get to it in the AM sometimes it's sleeping-the power light dimming and brightening-and sometimes

Have been fooling with PS CS3 beta and have a question. In Bridge I can't find the Edit History in the Metadata pallette. I have it checked in Prefs and looked in Help but no dice. Before I go to Adobe's site, I thought I'd check here first. I have the Windoze version also and the same thing is occurring. Is it a beta thing or what am I missing?

If you were an Adobe salesperson, how would you sell LR? I haven't dug too deep into it so what is the advantage of LR over, say, iView Media Pro or just using Bridge?

Weren't the Pismo CD/DVD drives that crapped out big time made by LG? I had an LG cell phone that I gave to my dad that still works fine but I hated the ring tones it came with!

Safari started acting up on me with my Pismo in 10.3.9. Everybody directed me to the fix which appeared to be too much work so I installed Firefox and have never looked back. Seems to work fine with my iMac Core Duo as I had gotten used to FF and installed on said machine importing over bookmarks, etc.
I am also with AT&T/ Yahoo which their new email beta doesn't work in Safari but does wit

Here's my question: How do you burn a disk without "locking" it like the Write Session feature in Toast? I see no option for it when I burn from Finder.

If your Elph has this feature, you can set the stay on time for longer so that your camera won't go into the power down mode so quickly and you will be ready to shoot faster. My old D. Rebel took two seconds before it powered up and I missed a few shots because of it. I got into the habit of tapping the shutter release button to keep it on then found out I could set the on time for 30 minutes and

US cars have improved considerably as far as reliability in the past few years. I recently leased an '06 Chrysler T&C minivan which Consumer Reports lists as having low customer satisfaction and reliability. This is my second one; I put 152K on my '97 until the trans started acting up-otherwise no problems. My new one I am very happy with; it's quiet, rides well, comfortable, and decent fuel

Unsharp mask may exacerbate the pixely look. If the image is sharp enough you may want to blur it slightly-give it the soft filter look. At 2"x3", it may help.

...why Apple gives three Updates; Software Update 99.4 MB, Delta Update 160 MB, and Combo Update 310 MB(!)? Why not just one with everything and leave it at that? And since Apple sends Software Updates to me automatically how would I know there were other Updates? It's mostly being on this forum that I checked Apple's site to find the others.

I recommend Goodyear Assurance TripleTred. We bought them for our '02 Volvo XC (OEM's were Pirelli Scorpions) and I can't believe how quiet they ride. We felt like we had a new car. They have excellent wet weather traction and you will not need snow tires for winter as their snow traction is very good. They have long tread life as well. Forteras are for larger trucks and SUV's; Assurance's will w

>I don't see how driving a fuel efficient car lowers the price per gallon of gas.
From the simple standpoint that when less fuel is used the less demand there is and the price drops. Its the classic example of these idiots who don't care that gas costs $3 a gallon because they can afford it-that's not the point! It's supply and demand.

Indicated 130mph on the M4 west of London in a Ford Sierra 2.8V6. Nice ride... Wish they would've sold those here. I know, the Merkur XR4ti but that was just one model. The whole product line would have sold well IMHO.

Thanx for the input. I actually went to the web site of an area university and found I can do online classes thru them. A prestigious name doesn't matter. I'm looking for an instructional/information tech master's to help with getting a teaching job when I retire.

Am wanting to get my Master's and I see lots of ads for Capella University, Colorado Technical University, U of Phoenix, et al. I seem to recall reading something about how some companies hiring won't accept degrees from some of these schools. Does anyone know of some web sites where I could get information about the credibility of some of these schools?

For a few weeks now I've had this strange thing happening. When I open my hard drive, the little drop down arrows in List view are gone and I have to double-click to open the folder. I have restarted, shut down and started, RP'd, etc., no luck. It only happens in my hard drive and no other folders. It's just a minor annoyance but anyone know what's going on?

I got Parallels primarily (but not exclusively) to run PS CS2 until CS3 came out. However, I downloaded the CS3 beta and there are still issues with CS3 for Macs so I have been using CS3 in Windows until I get the full version for Mac.
But I have Parallels Build 1970-which is confusing me because when I downloaded it the other Builds; like 3150, weren't offered and 1970 doesn't have CD/DVD or U
