Still working fine since I shut energy saver off..... we shall see. But seriously, I saw the report on XLR8YourMac, turned around, and the machine was in sleep mode. Would not wake. Hard rebooted, came right up, I had to do some other things, and when I got back to it about 15 mins later, exact same thing. I'll be interested to see if others report issues.

Tri-Wing. Commonly used on Nintendo systems. The others are typically called tamper proof, spline, clutch, or just security screws.

I'm not trying to recoup shipping on this order. My question is one of ethics. Here's an example; Store offers 2 levels of shipping. Ground for $5, or 2 day guaranteed service for $10. Customer chooses 2 day guaranteed service for $10. Store determines by zip code that the Ground service is guaranteed to deliver in 2 days and ships using the service - that the customer did not specify -

Interesting, it's split almost even - half thinking like I am, that they chose the cheap method out and are not using a guaranteed delivery service- that's a risk I would not have taken I guess. The package hit IL at 3:59AM today, so it may get here. UPS Ground is not guaranteed to deliver same day in IL to residential addresses; only businesses. So I guess we'll see. Thanks to all for the

Highly recommended. Got one about 5 years ago and it does an excellent job on normal straight blade knives in no time flat. I'm asked to bring it to holidays every year to sharpen every #&#*!ing knife in the house "since we're coming over".

Make your own, if you're handy with photoshop. I do every year, for myself and another employee at OWC. Choose 5 pics from the year, 2 on each side, one great pic in the center, and keep it simple. Get 4x6 prints from the processor of your choice; I use Walgreens; $.15 or $.19 depending on how many you order. Standard #10 envelope, address and done.

'h, While that will work, it's got 2 flaws. 1) always need the other machine around to re-clone in case something goes wrong. 2) some people like to LEGALLY own the software they use. :>)

This is your lucky day. Apple discontinued 10.4 once 10.5 shipped and supply in the channel is basically gone - EXCEPT.... We had it turned off on our site since we sold out. After it was turned off, we received 2 more copies in and it was never reactivated. Till about 2 minutes ago. Once those two are gone, that's it.

Ditto on the sour cream - it's really good at helping that kind of problem. Also adds a richness to the stew - you can do the same with chili for wimps. (I'm not one to do that to stew or chili - come on, my chili recipe uses 4 tablespoons of chili powder, some cayenne, and 6 whole jalapenos! :>) )

Yes, 3 weeks in January - not in July. which is why I also said I have 2 sets, one set of rims with performance tires, one set with winter tires. And space-time, you still have not answered the big question. WHAT KIND OF CAR? That will make a BIG difference in the kind of tires you need.

Big part will depend on what car you have! I have a Pontiac GTO, rear wheel drive, 400HP. I have 2 sets of tires. Summer tires, and winter tires. On that car, I can't say enough good about Dunlop Winter Sport M3's. They turn a pig(er goat) on ice into a car I drive through 6" of snow without a problem.

Seriously, look at good xmas lights. I wired a small ledge (12" wide) in my inlaws house 15 years ago with one outlet at each end, both going to one dimmer, and it runs around the entire room (a 30x20 family room with a 24' vaulted ceiling). Uh, no. That's not legal. If you can run the extension cord inside the wall, cut in a wall box, put in an outlet, and do it legal. I recommend good Christmas lighting (the larger bulbs, brand name lighting) hooked to a dimmer - works great, easy to replace bulbs. Rope light is great but expensive.

Yep power draw is different from side to side - look at the USB device tree in ASP and you'll see that trackpad, keyboard, isight, etc. - all draw from the USB bus.
