So glad I don't have to deal with that. I have 1.6 acres and lots of trees. But "fall" in Florida is in, like, February. The leaves only fall because the new growth pushes the old leaves off. By then, the grass is starting to grow again, so I just mow the lawn and all the leaves get mulched.

I'm always looking, but really don't need anything right now. The 8TB Samsung SSD at Amazon is $346 now. I think it dropped into the $330 range last week, but is back up. It's still lower than it was about 6 months ago when I looked. But as I said, I don't really need it now. I have a pair of 16TB externals that I haven't even taken out of the box yet. I'm looking for an iPad right now. I even bid on a previous gen 11" pro, but didn't even come close. Not sure if I should wait for the new model to come out and bid on the now-current model, or just get one now. I might wait. Wish I knew exactly when in 2024 they're planning on releasing them.

Also, to comment on above... I don't have a FB account, but have also considered getting one to use marketplace. I've been using my wife's account to buy a few things. She did say that I (you) might not get a lot of interest if I sell something since it would look like I am a scammer since I would have just joined. I had diverticulitis in 2016 which went septic, and I ended up having my sigmoid colon removed. Had the colostomy bag for a few months, and had a colonoscopy before being reattached. They told me I was good for 10 years, so I have a few years before I'm due.

I faced reality almost 20 years ago. Hair was thinning. I doubt minoxidil would have helped much. I started cutting it really short, then finally just shaved it all. Almost everybody I know tells me it looks much better shaved than the thinning, receding hair I had.

I'll admit to traveling the 30 minutes it takes to get to the nearest Buc-ees in Daytona Beach, just for fun. There's also a Direct Tools Outlet across the street, so I always go to both. As I type this, there's a bag of Beaver Nuggets in front of me. I had a bag of their Teriyaki Beef Jerky with me last winter when visiting my BIL. Gave him some, and he liked it so much he ordered it online

Popeyes and Arbys are the only two fast food places that I don’t mind eating at. Son used to like Chick-FIL-a, which I would tolerate but not really enjoy. Haven’t had KFC in probably at least 20 years. Well, the only KFC I have had is the local Korean Fried Chicken place.

A 27” iMac, but my wife has already moved on by getting a Studio and a 27” Samsung 4k monitor. She prefers the matte screen of the Samsung over her old iMac.

Y’all do know you can adjust the font size of Finder windows and icon sizes, and scale of browser windows, right? So you can take advantage of the extra real estate and still be able to see things.
