Y’all do know you can adjust the font size of Finder windows and icon sizes, and scale of browser windows, right? So you can take advantage of the extra real estate and still be able to see things.

Bout frickin time. I flew this week. Both flights it was the same. The entire front of the plane boarded first, so there was a long backup on the jetway. Then I get on and head to the back, only to find every frickin aisle seat has already boarded. So we have to wait for EVERY person in an aisle seat get up and have to let the middle and then window passenger on. I expect this move to save more t

Anyone think that DVDs and BluRays will make a comeback in like 20 years, similar to vinyl? I've heard audio cassettes are making a comeback now. Next up will probably be VHS, then CDs and DVDs.

I thought Iger had recently said that it was a "mistake" that Disney had raised prices so much recently. And then he goes and raises them again. We had annual passes to DW before Covid (and during part of it). They're just now finally making them generally available again, but the whole idea of needing to make reservations pisses me off. Not sure if/when we'll decide to get passes

Can't help you, but I have a friend who travels a LOT. The card he uses has a ridiculous fee (I think $495/year), but he says it's paid for itself many times over. I'll have to ask him which one it is.

First “new” iPhone was a 4s, which replaced a used original one. Next was 6s. And now a 13 Pro Max. I figure it’ll be another 3 or 4 years before I upgrade.

Too late for me. I did a clean install on my Studio last year. It wasn’t as painful as I expected because I realized I didn’t need a lot of the stuff I’d accumulated over the years.

I remember the good old days when I went to a county auction and bought an enormous box of SCSI cables for $5. This was probably in like 1998. I was selling them in lots of 10 on eBay. Was getting like $30 at first. I think eventually they were getting only a few bucks. I finally sold off the rest (probably about 100 or so) for like $20 to a local reseller.

I saw a gizmo on shark tank that supposedly cures hiccups. It was a breathing device that basically resets your diaphragm. For me, a teaspoon of peanut butter has always worked for me.

I’ve had my vehicle for 8 years now. I have a portable Sirius/XM radio that’s been in it from day 1. I probably tried the FM once. Never tried the AM radio. I’ve lived here for 29 years now and honestly cannot ever remember checking anything on the AM dial. Traffic and weather are easily gotten from my iPhone.

Both this house and last one have walk-in showers with a light/fan combo. Last house had separate switches for light and fan, this house just has the one switch. I shave in the shower, so I need light to see.
