we have one. spousal unit loves it. I'm hot on it, even in winter. I sleep terribly on it. Back hurts every morning. I do better in hotel beds, even the crappy "high end" hotels of Vegas.

I switched from Eudora 6.24 a year or 2 ago to OSX Mail. Does what you ask and I'm quite happy with it. I think there was some app that I used to import from Eu. Perhaps Mailbox Cleaner.

if my spousal unit gets an iPod and I have an iPhone, id there anything special that I need to do for both of us to make use of my iTunes? She does not have a user acct on my Mac at this point. Would I need to add one?

Turns on, "chimes" and looks like it wants to boot, but only gets to the desktop with no icons and just the mouse pointer. Healthy logic board so it would seem. But what would this point to? I'm trying to find a bottom half for my screen half.

tried that. No go. I get the CHKDSK message. Disable anti-virus (can't do coz I can't boot) and/or a choice of which way to try to boot. Previous working config Safe mode Safe boot with Network. Safe boot Command Prompt. Normally.

I added an app today and XP updated 72 files upon shutdown. Now it won't run saying I need to resize the HD. I tried that and I get a CHDSK /F message. But I can;'t start XP in any way without looping back (I hate winders). I tried reverting to previous working config. More looping. Is anyone good with this pig? Parallels 5.

there are few regretful areas in Manhattan. Yelp does very well with cheap eats around town. That neck of the woods has plenty. Great bread at Amys tween 46th & 47th. Farmers market on Weds at 57 and Ninth. Wondee Siam II on Ninth. Empanada Mama. Tehuitzingo Deli on 10th tween 47 & 48th. Route 66 on Ninth. Coffee and tea supplies at Empire on 43 and Ninth. so he's between 9 n 10th Ave. as I said, generally a safe and well populated area except say after midnite. A NYC awareness is a good thing to develop. I'd say from my time in Indianapolis and Bloomington/Belmont, it'll be a bit different. Also, Island Burgers and Shakes on 9th is great food for cheap.

100, 200, 300 or 400 W? It's generally a very safe street all the way to the river. Maybe be a bit more aware w of tenth late at night. Great food up and down 9th Ave. It's very cold in the winter with the wind rolling off the river. Double check locks, depending on the building.

friend wants one between multi region DVD and MBP for entertainment purposes. I usually use a Canopus for pro. Has anyone any experience with the USB versions? How's the picture and audio quality? Good enough for entertainment? $ difference is huge from their point of view.
