due to digidesign PT 6.9.3 requirement, I'm running X.4.2 on my G4 pbook. Apple help is suddenly broken. Individual app Helps work fine. Just the general "system" help is broken. I can get the start page, but if I click on anything or try to look for anything I get a spinning grey "clock". other than a reinstall, any suggestions?

I have a doc that was scanned and saved as an AR doc. It's 3 pages. I'd like to resave them as 3 separate pages. Anyway to do that with AR?

Safari always asks me for pdf reader. Only Acrobat isn't grayed. Preview isn't available. What do I need to change?

turn off SSID broadcast and Accept Any SSID (random search). Name your SSID. Someone has to be really bored to get thru that.

for some reason, when I tab now I go to every little thing on the page. The box in advanced prefs isn't checked, none the less .... In other words it's behaving like option tab even though that isn't engaged. I tossed Safari prefs, NC. Ideas?

Mephistos or Eccos depending on your feet. Expensive, but last a long time and are easily re-soleable.
