The reason it wasn't "mentioned" as a problem in your previous auction is simply because it was not reported. You had the misfortune to be reported this time. Simple as that. eBay relies on users to report auctions in violation. They don't have employees checking each auction for adherence to listing rules. It may very well have been a competitor. You had a chance to amend it. You've had since at least last August to get it right. Why should you get any preferential treatment for violating the rules? eBay doesn't work on the wanting system. they work on the "we expect you to know and follow our rules and if you don't we'll take down your auction" system. Either deal with that, or don't sell on eBay.

The rule you violated is about splitting payments between accounts to avoid fees. This has been part of the PayPal UA for years, and part of the eBay UA since at least last August. Yes, you may have 2 accounts, but you cannot direct CC payments to one account and nonCC payments to the other in order to avoid fees. If you're buying on eBay, the seller MUST accept credit cards via PayPal if he accepts any form of PayPal at all. Read the policy at If he refuses to accept your PayPal//CC payment, report him as a nonselling seller.

That first coupon is actually for AU$5 - current exchange rates have had it taking off US$3.47, but as the rates fluctuate that amount may go up or down.

If the USPS MO is good, ship wherever the buyer asks. Get the usual confirmation of delivery, of course (DC or SC from USPS, tracking from the other carriers).

Small hole in Pismo screen housing - burn from inside? - 17 years ago

So i just noticed a small hole in the upper side of the screen housing on my Pismo that was definitely not there a few hours ago. Shining a flashlight in the hole (small - maybe 3-4 mm in diameter) shows a darkened spot, so i grabbed a wood toothpick and checked it out. PayPal rules give the seller 7 days to ship if he wants to be covered under their policies. if he hasn't shipped yet, he may not actually be planning. Again, file the INR. File the item not received complaint with PayPal. The seller has to provide a tracking number, and it has to show delivery. If it doesn't, PayPal will find in your favor. If they can recover your money, great. if they can't, then you go to your CC company for a chargeback. You should always go to PayPal first.
