Famous old fish monger's and old chef's trick. ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
We had a few closet companies come out and got their free design and estimates for two closets; a ~10' single wall closet in the small bedroom, and a walk-in w/ ~9' left side wall, ~5' back wall, and 8' right side wall for the master. Eye-popping costs, $5,200 and up (to way up), but did take their designs under advisement. Taking all of our "gotta have's" into consideration, we were stby Buzz - Tips and Deals

Nobu's favorite restaurant? .....he's a BBQ guy at heart. With all his restaurants, it would be a statistical impossibility to not have a sexual harassment complaint somewhere up or down that food chain. Not surprising (also) that it would happen in Malibu, given its location and clientele. ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
Quotevision63 QuoteGareth QuoteBuzz Hmmmm, gotta check out them motion smoothing settings, and maybe resolution settings (which I thought were automatic) next time TNF has a game we're interested in watching. I would suggest testing it out on the next game, so you're ready to go for the game you're interested in watching! Wait for a game when the Rams are kicking the 49ers booty. Baby Buzz and I are both ~13.5 by the Brannock Device, but nobody makes 13.5's, so about 2/3 are 14's and 1/3 are 13's. 99% of my sneakers are 14's, most slippers & loafers are 13's. I can't wear Crocs, but the kid loves 'em, and his are 12's.... throws the paradigm off. ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
Quoteanonymouse1 I still don’t get it. Can someone help a brother out, here? Quoterz QuoteTiangou Took a minute to get that! "I thought it was Rick Astley lovin' on his Kia?" google it. The Rick part, not the Kia Soul part. 1987(?) was a very good year for him. ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals

You call that ancient? My DataDesk MAC 101e, circa 1991. Working fine with my M2 Pro Mac mini. Yeah, I had a few DataDesk KB's back in the day. Hmmmm, gotta check out them motion smoothing settings, and maybe resolution settings (which I thought were automatic) next time TNF has a game we're interested in watching. It was just funky, real funky I tell ya. Plus, Mrs. Buzz gave me crap about the sound being up too high; of course I had left it where she had it the night before when she was watching her stuff.... she has a tendency to fireby Buzz - Tips and Deals
60" Sammy 4K Smart TV 120KHz refresh, no computer involved. OTOH, TNF looks better on Dell U3011 30" monitor, that while hooked up to a pair of cMP's, doesn't use computer for TV mode. Still open for suggestion...... ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
Glad my hometown 49er's are kicking booty, but this is first time watching live football on Prime on big screen (for us anyway at 60"). It just has a funkiness about it that other live sports, via cable, don't seem to have. Anybody have a reasonable explanation? Thanks. ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals

My old boss at the camera store in the mid 1970's had something similar, but it was in need of a lot work to be in anywhere near that condition. I lost track of him about twenty years ago, and at that time the ol' classic still wasn't show-ready. Those old, pre-war Packards were sweet rides. OK, gonna switch to a power bank to try to charge for the next few hours..... Fingers crossed maybe that'll tickle (trickle?) its fancy. Not liking the less than favorable prognosis's for the time being. FWIW, ye olde (circa 2011) HP TouchPads are still going string. Go figure. Mahalo ==by Buzz - Tips and Deals
While I was out of action w/ Covid, I didn't charge my aging ZTE gaming phablet for ~3 weeks, and now it's not taking a charge. I've tried low power charging, and high power charging, and no matter what charger it gets hooked up to, it doesn't seem to want to get over the hump to suck down enough juice to do its thing. A couple of times I did get it to start starting up, but it crapped out just aby Buzz - Tips and Deals

I've had great success w/ Betron earbuds. Darn reasonable, and sound great. Overall faves are Betron ELR50's, no mic on linky, as mic version is currently OOS on the Beezer. The Betron BS10, IMHO, is their best sounding earbud, but their kinda oddball design that makes it sound so great also makes it tough to get a comfortable fit in many ears..... you need to wiggle 'em around to get proper/cby Buzz - Tips and Deals

It's contagious! Our 23 y.o. nephew (whose recent wedding is where Mrs. Buzz and I caught Covid), Mrs. Buzz's 63 y.o. baby bro, and 68 y.o. BIL, are all recovering from torn Achilles tendons.
