New smoker guy moved into back unit, replacing old non-smoker guy as roommate to yuppie chick on lease. New guy wanders around outside, smoking and talking on cell phone, though it is supposed to be a smoke-free 2 building complex. Several neighbors have already asked him to refrain, and when asked, he simply walks a building, or two, away for the time being. Given the hot weather lately, everybo

I won a MacAddict tshirt at MWSF a few years ago, and then my brother talked them into an add'l tshirt for him. Also won an Odyssey putter at same MWSF that my brother kept for his kid that was learning golf at the time... won the football in the early 60's at the annual cub scout meeting where the local high school football team and coach showed up to talk about supporting the team; ball was sto

woven/braided leather, fully adjustable, no holes. prefer quality (usually expensive) belts which last much longer, but routinely buy dept store cheapos that look good on the rack for daily wear, though tend to wear out incredibly quickly in comparison w/ the good stuff... exception has been $15 special from Nautica outlet store going on two years that seems indestructible, but admittedly is the

I have a beige G3 tower awaiting redeployment that you're welcome to shortstop for free if it can be of service to Mrs. Tats. It has a couple of dead drives that need to be yanked (and reclaimed) and a 256MB PC100 DIMM, w/ your add'l 512, you could max RAM it. Not sure about your ZIF's direct compatibilty, but it also has USB card and 52X cdrw (fry's or OfficeMax special from a while back...). I

for whatever reason, the wattage ratings tend to vary within the the same VA rating, but a G5 w/ accessories needs 800 watts which is likely gonna be at least a 1200VA unit. don't skimp on your main machine, especially w/ dirty power as described...

what's your idea of a contract? some carriers will let you add tethering for a month, or so at a time, which if you have a compatible cell phone is great, but if you don't, you'll pay up the wazzoo for a new phone w/o a contract, so they're gonna getcha one way or the other, unless you're lucky enough to have a full featured phone to start with and only pay for tethering while you're roadworthy,

Mrs. Buzz is a flight attendant for a major airline, and sees a lot of first timers, which makes for interesting conversation upon her return. To fuel Mrs. Poochie's fire, my father died in a plane crash, though true to Poochie's odds, I've had several relatives and friends (and relatives of friends) die in traffic accidents. We know a few non-flyers, but I don't think they're MRF surfers.

Profits and deaths aren't the point. A government shouldn't legislate what individuals (myself) put into their bodies because other individuals (you) think they are right or wrong, good or bad. As you will notice, I qualified my original statement by saying, "as long as it doesn't infringe on someone else's rights." I shouldn't have to pay for your MIL's bad decisions b

Gotta disagree with you there. Consenting adults should be free to do whatever they see fit with whatever plant or substance nature/god sees fit to put on the planet. That is of course as long as it doesn't infringe on someone else's rights. I think it is scary that governments think they have the right to regulate that in any way. I also think it is crazy that ordinances have be
