It seems to me the problem here is Israel's objective. They want to absolutely destroy Hamas. But Hamas is completely blended in to the population of one of the most densely populated places on Earth. It's impossible without horrendous casualties. Israel needs to back off, and begin the process of bringing in a third-party, perhaps the United Nations, along with willing Arab nations, to rebuild
