Well that depends alot on where you're going. Here in "used to be" sunny CA...no AWD means a lot of time installing or removing tire chains or paying someone 20 clams to do it for you. Whereas if you're in VT, where people drive like a banshee and have no idea what a tire chain is....you get my drift. It's tough to generalize what is best without knowing your specific needs. Me? I

The AWD Sienna uses special "run flat" tires as the center differential occupies the space normally used for a spare tire. The run flat tires are very expensive and difficult to locate. Run away from that vehicle NOW. We investigated the issue thoroughly and ended up with the Honda Pilot instead of the Odyssey. The Odyssey is fine on a snowy road, but won't plow through deep snow. Will kick in my 2 cents a bit late here too. Marine World is in an awful location. There is a Holiday Inn across the street. It's crowded, noisy and not super clean. Across 80 on Admiral Callahan Way are some motels...very little in the way of restaurants...definitely not an area to walk. I will throw out the idea of staying nearby on the Suisun Valley Road exit off of 80 (about 10 miles east)

Orbitz allows for some very quick comparison shopping that displays the lowest rates found on company sites. I check Hotwire then Orbitz and proceed from there.
