Quotebazookaman My daughter and I watched Flight of the Navigator last night and she commented that it would a good one for a sequel. Would probably work well as a series too. Just have to get Paul Rubens back.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
I don’t watch religiously, and I don’t know how public any of his recent health issues have been made, but I did notice he’d slowed down a lot lately. I hope he’s in good enough shape to relax and actually enjoy his hard-earned retirement for many years.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Amazon Basics used to be well regarded. Mine’s fine. Edit: Wirecutter likes them alright. Linkby BernDog - Tips and Deals

I’ve been missing some notifications lately. I didn’t know it was a know issue over WiFi. I was just chalking it up to user error. Hope this fixes things.by BernDog - Tips and Deals

QuoteWHiiP You certainly canNOT rule out red and blue. WE, as a country, are all about red, white and blue! A TRUE star Trek fan would love the colors!!!! But who wants to be in the space force as a red shirt?by BernDog - Tips and Deals
QuoteRAMd®d Much more so than 'like', though, the phrase that drives me up the wall when tacked invariably onto the end of otherwise perfectly good sentences as if it was merely punctuation is "You know what I mean? I feel your pain, as that bugs me if I hear it even once. Similarly is the interrogative, also tacked on for no good reason- 'right?'. Two other things bug me– subsby BernDog - Tips and Deals

I hate: Air fresheners Air freshener spray Scented candles Diffusers Potpourri Perfume Cologne Scented toilet paper Scented lock lube Scented trash bags Scented underwear Natural scents from nature are good: flowers, pine, smoky campfire, herbs and spices. Man-made scents created naturally from cooking are wonderful: chocolate chip cookies, barbecue. Only from the source, though.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
I have a 3, but this is not from personal experience. From what I’ve read, if you don’t care about EKG, slightly bigger display, or always-on display, it’s 3. If you care about any of those, it’s a 5. That may be based on there not having been much of a discount on the 4 when I read that, though. If there’s a good deal on a 4 somewhere and you still don’t care about always-on display,by BernDog - Tips and Deals
QuoteRolando I tended to get a "Rocky" vibe on the dramatic swells, anyone else? Definitely major hints to the B section of Gonna Fly Now. Edit: Bzzzt. Wrong. After research, it’s the melody in Going the Distance after the fugue section.by BernDog - Tips and Deals

QuoteFilliam H. Muffman Consider having your homeowner's insurance agent get involved. They might be able to find out the delivery companies insurance, and then you can serve them with small claims suit if they aren't interested in that small a case. Don't bother with small claims if you aren't 100% willing to show up for the case. Another vote for this. That’s what they do. If it needs to goby BernDog - Tips and Deals
2012s are holding their value because they were the last ones where you could easily muck around inside. If you don’t need to do that, newer is probably better, barring the other comments that have already been made.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Sorry I don’t have a direct answer for your question, but maybe keep checking https://www.ispot.tv/ to see if it pops up.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
QuoteKraniac GFCI's wear out..10 years is time to replace the GFCI'd outlets...for sure. It could very well be that the toaster revealed this.. Agree. It might continue to happen more frequently, or it may never happen again. I’d blame the outlet way before I blamed the appliance, though. I don’t know about 10 years, YMMV. Test them all periodically. If you’re at all worried about it,by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Quote3d Request PayPal payment in full at the conclusion of the auction. No cash and carry. The pickup is just that. Pickup only after payment in full. Meet at a place close and convenient to you. Just to keep things fully within eBay’s system, I’d change the listing to offer local pickup so the entire transaction was above board. Then, while you can’t technically ask for feedback, rby BernDog - Tips and Deals
Just went through the quote process out of curiosity. My BIL has a 2000 Expedition with 170k miles that needs a new engine, but is still running for now. Everything else is in good mechanical and cosmetic shape. They offered $70. I wonder if location is a big part of it. I would suppose the distance they have to go to pick it up would greatly affect the offer. Wonder where the operate out ofby BernDog - Tips and Deals
QuoteMrNoBody Have a DYMO Duo & Brother QL-700; they can't do 4 X 6 labels. Max is 2.25"w. 4 X 6 is the de facto standard for USPS, etc. thermal labels. hal's method would be easiest for occasional shipments. I guess I thought the dymo would do larger labels. The ones we use are 2 5/16” and we ship dozens of packages usps every day. If it’s only a few, then laser on 8.5x11 wby BernDog - Tips and Deals
I have a Dymo 400 and it works fine on Mac. I think 450 is the newer version, but compatibility should be the same. Edit: I also wouldn’t be to concerned with a used one either. No ink, no toner, lots less to go wrong. I’d definitely consider it, considering how much new ones are.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Voted in the tier below car ribbons, but the big purchases were an iPhone (handing old one down), upgrading cell service, and tires. These things were all going to happen anyway, but they happened now because of deals. As far as the more typical stuff, it was under $50: couple cheap rokus and a free plus shipping flashlight.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
I once did the Kessel Run in 13 parsecs. Not the fastest ever, but pretty good as far as I’m concerned.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
QuoteN-OS X-tasy! Sorry to be that guy, but anyone who gives BB/GS any tech kit to work on deserves whatever fate befalls them. Seriously, who doesn't know better than to do that? My whole line of thinking was that it’d have to go to Apple for eval/repair/replacement anyway, and I was also going to upgrade at the same time. The other option was to deal with Apple on the phone, wait an extra cby BernDog - Tips and Deals
QuoteMrNoBody QuoteN-OS X-tasy! I'd say probably not. I concur. Owning an ATV4k, ATV2, Fire Stick 4K, & LG Smart TV; my two old Roku devices went to AmVets for the electronics training classes. imho, Roku can't compare with the current offerings. I got an ATV4 when they came out because I was excited about all the new possibilities the App Store was going to bring. I use it for plex, Nby BernDog - Tips and Deals
