Wife and I flew on JetBlue from Minneapolis to Boston round trip in September. No issues or concerns. Plane was about one-third full.

Bought the Pros fro my wife for Christmas. Just recently she admitted she didn't like the fit. So I bought her a set a regular AirPods, Gen 2, and I took the Pros. We're both happy now.

Airlines are taking a long time to make refunds. A Delta cancellation I did in March took two weeks to hit my credit card. A JetBlue cancellation I did last week was accepted, but they said it may take 30 days for the refund to hit my credit card. So, the watchword is patience.

University of Minnesota sophomore Nibir Sarma just picked up a cool $100,000 in the college Jeopardy! tournament that aired this week. Nabir and my son were high school classmates and took AP Chemistry together. Both are Chemical Engineering majors (but at different schools; my son goes to UW-Madison). My son sent him congratulations tonight and they chatted a bit.

I knew a guy who was an extra on TNG for the first four seasons. He got the gig because he knew Jonathan Frakes and, more importantly, he looked good in the tight uniform. Although frequently seen in the background, he had a single line of dialogue--and a screen credit--in only one episode.

I subscribe to the Star Tribune 150 year online archive. Once in a while I'll pull up an issue from 50 or 60 years ago just to read Sid's column. Columns then pretty much read like columns now. A highlight of my father's very abbreviated life was calling in to Sid's radio show and asking him a question on the air. My father died at age 51, 28 years ago. Sid's still here.

My March 22 trip to Spain officially cancelled yesterday (Friday). My wife and I were to rendezvous with my mom, who's been there for 10 days already. She and her friends are safe in a beautiful place and well stocked with supplies, so no immediate concerns. How/when they get back is an open question at this point.
