Great deal, thanks! I wanted to mention that kerosene heaters will cause any space they;re used in to stink like kerosene. My friends had major pipe burstage last winter and ended up getting a lot of experience with such devices (they removed the space-heater from their basement at a contractor's advise . . .)

Also consider a wiki. Like, You can password protect, or not; you can place photos and choose themes for the main page, basically emulating a web page. And everyone can edit. The basic (free) level is all you need.

Also feel like this is a waste of time. Would much prefer an update on the "current" Trek universe. There are 3 series' worth of cast members to pool from, alive and reasonably young.

The "not supported" before could have been because a (freshly) burnt disc was in the drive (?)

I installed Patchburn-- now it says this (no disk info whether there's a blank or full DVD in the drive)-- see below . . . However I still can't get anything to come up under "other" in Toast. But, I discovered that the disc burned in simulation mode for some reason (a bunch of AVI files in data mode). Disc works fine (simulation mode doesn't). So, still not sure how to make a "

Running 5.2.3 now but there's no pulldown action with the "other" tab . . . Put a DVD in the drive and same . . . running a 4.1 gb data burn in simulation mode for no good reason though . . . Toast's counter barely seems to know how to handle it- the seconds are three seconds long.

That reminds me of a car story I have . . . I witnessed a guy walking down a commercial strip this evening kicking in the side of about every third car as hard as he could (as well as the random newspaper box). I saw him do this for a three block stretch.

I wandered by Staples yesterday, and a few things jumped out at me, including a Lite-on DVD RW drive for $28. Been meaning to buy one . . . never had DVD burning capability before. I have it in a FW case now and it's recognized, playing back a CD nicely. So, some questions, if you indulge me (I know this stuff is =old-= to most of you). 1) CD-R vs. CD+R. WTF? I have a Fisher/Paykel and like it a lot. The thread you recall actually had someone recommending against f/p without giving any reasoning. My home water is unmetered, so the fee is basically a "tax"- about $550 a year (small 2-flat).
