Well, you can use VisualHub (DeadWare, but WORKS) to compress AND stitch together. JoinTogether - not sure if it works on video. It SHOULD because all it does it take iTunes tracks, into QuickTime, joins them together and ADDITIONALLY CHAPTER-izes them.
