In the 3,1 you'll have two 16x 2.0 slots and two 4x 1.0 slots. The 4x slots won't work with a card that requires PCIe 2.0, and would be slow even if they could. Assuming as MrNoBody says, you need High Sierra and Boot Rom 140.0.0.0.0, you'll need to jump a couple hoops to get there because 3,1 is not supported. There's something to be said for replacing it. But, in the interest of fun craft skills... Don't use heat. Use chemicals. Grind up some ABS or PVC plastic into small bits, then dissolve it in Acetone. You might find some black ABS, make a slurry, and spread on multiple layers.

Edit: Nevermind... just looked and my recommendation doesn't offer bi-focal sunglasses either. They do offer progressive sunglasses. Looks like the lenses will start around $75, up to $135. I've used Zenni, although it's been a while. More recently... Plenty of options for frames under $50, with some as low as $19. Lenses can be under $20, or over $100 at the high end.

Unless you set up the SSL appropriately, it will protect just the specific domain listed. In their language, www.auditorymusings.com would actually be a separate, second domain.
