Costco will have a Sandisk 1TB SSD on sale beginning June 21st. The mailer doesn't give much info, but sleuthing the photo on Amazon it looks from the shape of the carrying hole that it is the Extreme Portable that Amazon has for $127 or S134. There's an older and newer model. You could pay that much for a smaller capacity SD card, so I think I will pick up the 3 that are allowed.by andypie48 - Tips and Deals

It arrived at the Apple Store about a week earlier than promised. 2023 Mini, 16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD. It is blazing fast and overcomes a few glitches that were developing in my Late 2012 Intel i5 Mini. I took the afternoon setting it up and doing file migration from my old Intel mini. It may be time to pull the trigger on a new Mini. I'm still running a 2013 Mini with the Ancient Unsupported Operating System. I don't do anything with a lot of bit-crunching. The report about not being able to initalize the drive was from a one-or-two star rating on the Amazon page. It's a 2013 Mini and I'm not sure if I'm going for an internal or external boot. The reason I bought it was that the Black Friday price was $50 and that was an amazing price for a 1TB SSD WD drive. If it won't work for a Mac I have something else I can put it in. I bought a Whirlpool top-freezer fridge last year, and it works very well. Unfortunately the bottom crisper drawers are much smaller than I realized, smaller than anything I have ever owned.
