Capital One Performance Savings is 4.25% and they have a 5.10% 10-month CD. Personally, I'd buy the maximum $10,000 in iBonds and consider buying some short term treasuries. You can buy them in terms as short as 4 weeks at TreasuryDirect. I have a bunch, ranging from 26 weeks to 5 years. I just bought some 26 week T-bills at 5.366% and you can set it up to reinvest again if you like. Rates up

I'm a big IG fan so I appreciate this Indigo Girls cover from the Uptown Lounge in Athens, GA in 1990. I was at this show, and it was a great night. The live video performance is on DVD. Holy crap, someone's trying to sell it for $500 on Amazon.

Gotta do the work. I'm in an okay space. Still down 22 lbs from my worst but need to lose at least 20 more. Walking some, plantar fasciitis is less severe than last year. Need to keep exercising and eating less animal protein to protect my kidneys, which have had some issues.

I just want an extra backup copy of some key files, beyond Time Machine. Only a half TB or so, but I might as well make room for more. Don't want to spend a bunch of money. Still an external HDD? Or look at a flash drive or SSD?
