Carriers reuse tracking numbers often, as they sunset the tracking numbers for shipments after a certain date (usually several months down the road, possibly into a a year+). I haven't looked into it any further details that this post, and maybe I am misinterpreting it, but what I'm seeing if they are offering a service to archive that tracking number for you, if something like that is neededby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Yes, you should be fine to update it your OSes (and things) should continue to run as they have been.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

TCL 6-Series or 8-Series. If mounting above the fireplace, consider a fireplace mount (Monoprice carries them), so the TV has the option to be pull out and lowered, for better viewing angles.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Quotejdc Quotefreeradical QuoteFilliam H. Muffman > "What is an "Android" TV?" The ability to run non-Apple mobile apps for media streaming. My Roku box already does that. But if you dont already own a roku box (or any other) you dont have to buy one =) Although I was under the impression TCLs all came with Roku, not andriod TV. $500 for 75" is wild. Not the same model, but worth checking out: Leo Laporte has one and I recall him even mentioning a couple weeks back that he likes it quite a bit.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

Quotesekker Quoteonthedownlow What/how are you backing up? External drive? Over your network (wirelessly, maybe?)? What macOS version? Catalina, 10.14.6, wireless connection to a Time Capsule. Sorry for the delay. It likely is that wireless connection. Do you backup often with TM, or are there gaps between backups where it is a larger 'block' of data to backup, rather than more frequent baby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

I believe it is per account. Similar to a Ring subscription (well, the "$100" one) - unlimited devices. Ouch - nevermind, looks like it is per camera. $14.99 billed annually per camera, or $1.99/month. I just went through the checkout process to verify, and it does show as 'per camera' and you just up the quantity from '1' to however many 'licenses' (I'm calling them that) yoby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
If you are running the Wyze beta app, then this stuff is (still) already included (and has been for quite some time). "Hello from your friends at Wyze, We're excited to announce our new no-contract, optional upgrade for Wyze Cam users: Cam Plus! Cam Plus is an upgrade to some of Wyze Cam's already amazing built-in features of motion detection and video recording. Cam Plus comby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
I picked one up for my parents'. They had an older 17"...moved them up to a 32" HDTV a few years back, but last year or so they moved that one into another room so they could watch TV on it instead. This will fit the bill nicely (and will be a much better display overall and for their eyes) than the cheap-32" TV.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
QuoteC(-)ris Quotepdq I was going to post a followup to the Linksys Velop. It is not nearly as solid as the Meraki system I had before. I do experience cut outs randomly and poor signal for seemingly no reason. Overall though, for $50 for 3 nodes I'm still OK with it over $900 for Meraki. My long term plan is to slowly purchase the Ubiquity equipment I want. I'm an Orbi person for sure w/5by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

Quotecbelt3 For a pro level system the prices sound good. The labor sounds kind of high, unless he has to run another electrical line for the trickle charger. Power level depends on how far you have to lift the water to get it out of the basement and safely into an outside storm drain line. I installed a cheapo HD unit and hooked it up to a deep cycle battery, not the HD battery. I also cheateby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Yep, has nothing to do with the Roku. HBO just hasn't reached a deal yet with Roku or Amazon (Firestick) to put HBO Max. I'm sure they'll get it done, as both of them are around 70% or more of the market. They might even extend the date on pulling it until an agreement is reached.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

It will update fine, no need to worry about a key. The hardware is already registered with Microsoft, so the upgrade to the latest version will activate fine. Just download the latest Media Creation Tool from Microsoft and upgrade away.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Just flew United last night - Biscoff still there, so far. I like either. I purchased Biscoff cookies from Costco after having them the first time they were offered on a flight a year or two(?) ago. Seems like they have had them for a long time now. The 'United exposure' definitely worked on me. lolby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
All over Amazon - more Windows versions out there, but Mac is there. 'Office 2016 for Mac' Also:by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
True, but not knowing the OS or hardware (though they are using 2008 already), whatever version you want to go with. If Office, I would stick with 2016, as the prices are much cheaper (instead of $200+ for 2019) - $50-$80 - possibly less shopping around, but that is ballpark.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
I would just buy an older, but newer, perpetual license version of Office 2011 or 2016 for Mac. It will still be fine for years to come. What issues is she having? Just compatibility issues with the .xlsx format? You could also install the latest version of LibreOffice, and it will work and is compatible:by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

QuoteM A V I C Hard to believe someone didn't do it at least once in the past decade+ since the original cheese grater was released. I know - it had a sneeze guard and everything! (well, the G5s did) I still have a dualie 2.7GHz G5 sitting on my desk (although have a Mac Mini sitting on top of that and is the active machine). People love seeing it. I did. I didn't do the app/filter thing, but the last few days I get the 'potential spam' caller id notice now, where I have never received that before on Verizon (over 20 years with them). All of my friends that have T-Mobile, etc. always have received the 'potential spam' caller id, and I always thought it would be nice if Verizon had that going for them, and looks like they are now pushingby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

Quoterjmacs Many stories posted online of bad drives being reinstalled in an empty case and RMA'd successfully. So, when you shuck them, keep the most pristine enclosure in case you have a warranty need. Exactly. For the price savings I would definitely (and have) purchase the externals. Just double-check online that the drive can be removed and has standard SATA connectors on it. Some modelby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
