Look at a DJI Mavic Mini, Mini 2, Mini 2SE, or Mini 3. All would be great an in your price range.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
I had a flight, not cancelled, but overbooked, from Palm Springs, CA, to a neighboring state. This occurs basically every time I fly from the PSP where they ask for volunteers to take a later flight (same day, or next) - usually I do not skip the flight, even though it is easy money. This was United, and if they do not specifically announce a comp price/voucher that they will credit you (and it wby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Had them all over the house. You can also hold onto the Power button to dim the lights up/down, and set it. Oh, see where you posted that, as well. Yep - just hold on Fan/Light to control things - pretty nice and expensive controls for the time.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
I have the screens. I've researched and purchased several of others (including Dell's nice USB-C version), and yes this price is just too good (i.e. scam), unfortunately. Even their 'real price' is only $77.56, which is a red flag.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Usually the Roku will control the TV volume through the HDMI (commands). If your Vizio is a little older, or depending on the port plugged in, it might not work this way. If your Roku remote is a straight RF (and does not inlcude Infrared at the end/tip), then you might purchase a replacement remote that is compatible and does Infrared, and then it will control the volume with IR normally.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Use them (or any similar device you'd like). It will not cause any issues, and although not always precise (due to how they connection and report back), it is better than nothing, gives piece of mind, and sort of fun to look at where your bag/luggage is at sometimes.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
The good, old Windows 7 'Backup and Restore' utility is still in Windows 10/11 (and probably will be going forward - many places still use this engine for PXE cloning/imaging of machines) for complete (scheduled) system imaging/restoring of the machine. It will not be bootable. Fast restoring after booting from the 'System repair disc' (boot disc you create with the utility or download one). Yby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
And if the grid runs hot, which alot of them do now, then you'll probably be pulling ~245Vby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Just run the built-in 'Windows 7' backup and restore, and back up a full system image. Super-easy, and fast to restore. Go to Control Panel, select Backup and Restore (Windows 7), then click Create a system image. In the next window, choose the location you want the image backup to be sent to, then click Next. Select any drives you wish to back up, then click Next to begin the backup procesby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
QuoteBuzz I have pretty much all things old FileMaker. PM me, and I'll convert it for ya. We have a Snow Leopard machine that has FMP6 ready to go at all times. Easy-peasy. == Likewise. I even have some older FM5 - 11 servers running. Sounds like you don't care at this point, but if you want Buzz or myself to upgrade the files to a newer version and/or export the data out to something elsby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
I purchased a MakerBot Replicator x2 back in 2013 - later that year also picked up the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner. I hate to admit, but I probably have not used either in at least 5 years. They look good sitting out and I keep them dusted and ready to go, but haven't touched them otherwise.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Quotemattkime Zelle is fine to use too, but I'd only use it with close friends and relatives as it provides minimal transaction protections....which is why scammers would like it. This. Perfectly fine to use, but only do it with people you know and trust. It is just like using cash: If you give somebody $50 for something, but you are scammed (i.e. don't receive what you paid for, need a refuby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

On select Verizon Unlimited plans, this is included (Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle) - makes me wonder if they will increase at some point; so far they have not with with Disney+ increases.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
I've had an issue happen where the money/transfer was just canceled. It was baffling for a while. This was to my own account (from my another account I have). What happened, was on he receiving account, I had set up Zelle with my debit card information to process 'instantly,', but I realized after a few times that the card had expired. Once I logged in and updated the info, then it took immby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
In 2012, I flew out to Philadelphia to finalize a purchase of a car. I set myself up to fly back, if I decided not to finish out the purchase (I had some dollars down on the vehicle for them to hold it). It was from a dealership, so I was able to have them get me temp tags. I also was able to have the dealership take care of my home state's plates and registration via an E-registration process, sby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Quotechopper When Steve said Flash was a "bag of hurt" it was the very first time anyone suggested that it wasn't a bunch of roses. I thought he said that about Blu-Ray? But it easily could have been applied to Flash, as well.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
Carriers reuse tracking numbers often, as they sunset the tracking numbers for shipments after a certain date (usually several months down the road, possibly into a a year+). I haven't looked into it any further details that this post, and maybe I am misinterpreting it, but what I'm seeing if they are offering a service to archive that tracking number for you, if something like that is neededby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

TCL 6-Series or 8-Series. If mounting above the fireplace, consider a fireplace mount (Monoprice carries them), so the TV has the option to be pull out and lowered, for better viewing angles.by onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

But if you dont already own a roku box (or any other) you dont have to buy one =) Although I was under the impression TCLs all came with Roku, not andriod TV. $500 for 75" is wild. Quotesekker Quoteonthedownlow What/how are you backing up? External drive? Over your network (wirelessly, maybe?)? What macOS version? Catalina, 10.14.6, wireless connection to a Time Capsule. Sorry for the delay. It likely is that wireless connection. Do you backup often with TM, or are there gaps between backups where it is a larger 'block' of data to backup, rather than more frequent baby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals

I believe it is per account. Similar to a Ring subscription (well, the "$100" one) - unlimited devices. Ouch - nevermind, looks like it is per camera. $14.99 billed annually per camera, or $1.99/month. I just went through the checkout process to verify, and it does show as 'per camera' and you just up the quantity from '1' to however many 'licenses' (I'm calling them that) yoby onthedownlow - Tips and Deals
